I wouldn't be surprised if Ian is done with the show. He seems like a busy guy, and maybe felt like it was his time to leave. Yet, if Damon somehow came back, I wouldn't be all that surprised either. The show has been bad at killing people this season.

Forbes survived. There is a scene where Alaric clearly states that she is breathing. How she survived a blast that killed everyone else, I do not know.

Isn't that what the cows are for? I read a book once called The House of the Scorpion or something, where fetuses were grown in cow uteruses.

Seestras before meestras.

I'm just confused why Liv and Luke's coven is getting a pair of twenty-something twins to handle such a big job. They are being threatened to lose all their powers, so of course it makes perfect sense in witch-world to send the twins.

Well then he's not very good. Nathaniel Buzolic is Australian (guy playing David) and I didn't hear his accent. If you want to work stateside, do better at covering up the accent.

I miss Nathaniel Buzolic from TVD, so I'm very happy to see him working again and being all adorable. It also helps that he's the most talented new cast member.

Schmidt is very metrosexual. The kid was just latching on to that.

This episode wanted to be good, but they keep on cutting down on the story when they shouldn't be!

I could see Kass going final three if only because no one would like her enough to vote for her so she'd be there as one less threat.

Yeah, I guess it's unfair to say how I'd like him outside of the game, but I don't like the character he is on it.

Exactly. She's in the perfect position right now. She's Tony's right-hand woman, so she's the least likely to be gunned down by him at the moment. On top of that, she's not a perceived threat by anyone else in the game, nor does she have any significant enemies on the jury that would detract from her chances of

Maybe I used the wrong words. She's definitely playing a smart game, but I'm not sure how aware she is of it. She doesn't come off as being aware of having a certain strategy. That's how I see her. Whereas, with Tash, Spencer, Tony, etc. you know that they have a specific strategy and are scheming/acting certain ways.

I get that people love Tony, but I'm disliking him more and more as a person. I think he's playing too loud a game, and is just way too over the top and crazy. I also think people are overestimating how intelligent Trish is. I think she's more loyal than anything else, though she's playing an (unintentionally) smarter

Morgan's distaste towards Tony is amazing. As is Sara's. If (when?) Tony makes it to the final three, I can't wait for them to tear him apart.

I really like what the show has been doing with supernatural politics. There are a lot of different players and motivations at work right now, and it seems like the human faction is still untapped. This episode gave us some insight into the werewolves, we know where the witches stand, and Elijah standing by

I didn't see that. I was too emotional after the last season finale to think straight. I also wasn't that disappointed with the opener of the newest season, but if the AV Club saw screeners and didn't find it worth writing about, then that's that.

Fair enough. I thought the first episode of the new season was fine, but if you guys saw more than that and weren't impressed, that's a different story. Thanks for the response!

So … are we done with the Awkward reviews? It's not even getting an honourable mention anymore. Sigh.

Why did the review not mention Kol? I've always liked Nathaniel Buzolic, so it was nice to see him return.
