"Yeah, that's right. We had an ethnic gay bully." Great line read from Zooey.

… From 8 years ago. And wolf-girl would just be hanging out in the same spot for 8 years?
I agree. They hit all the right marks in the piracy issue and made a relevant, entertaining episode. This is why I still watch!
Agreed. I HATED Well's Hannigan. I seriously hope she never has to do it ever again. It was terrible. She redeemed herself slightly with Zooey though. I'll give her that.
I believe it's been renewed for another season, but it will be an entirely different creative team. The creator and her fellow writers will no longer be involved in the show.
This definitely felt like Lauren's finale, and final send off. I feel like Jenna's paper was her way of saying good bye to all of the characters she had lovingly created. Everyone surrounding Jenna has their share of faults, but it's all of their strengths that Jenna wants to draw from an be inspired by to make…
A. Great finish to the season.
I like Rannells, don't get me wrong, but the writing for The New Normal was horrendous, and he deserves better. I'd rather see more of him on Girls.
So I just realized that we're on completely different pages, Donna. Unlike the travesty that was the Bedtime Stories episode, I loved this. While it wasn't very "laugh out loud" funny, it brought everyone together, showed off some great Mother-Marshall chemistry, and started things up again.
I agree that there are fundamental issues with pretty much every storyline in this show, but dammit, I still enjoy it.
Lauren, I'm already getting upset at the fact that there will only be one more Awkward episode with your name attached to it. The show really lived up to its name in the last few moments with Jenna stuck in a dress expecting a Promposal that we all knew wouldn't come.
Yep, I agree with everything you just said. It's a compelling enough story, and nothing that happened is out of character for Damon. Solid episode.
But it's a television show. A dramatic one. How would you have introduced the memory, or told Somerhalder what to do differently? I'm genuinely curious.
B+. I enjoyed it. shrugs
Maybe it wasn't repressed so much as something he doesn't like to think about? It was a pretty brutal period of his life and it makes sense that it wouldn't be in the forefront of his mind, even if he did happen to be in the heart of where it happened.
Maybe I'm just trying to explain away the plot holes, but it made sense to me why Damon would just not mention this.
A-, great episode.
Nick logic is the best kind of logic
That's why I think it will be a very polarized response to the episode. You were entertained, I wasn't. And I'm not expecting a ton of character progression, just something. And there was nothing. I expect more from this show in its last days.
Maybe it was just because I'm not used to that level from HIMYM. For a show about a dad telling his kids about all the sex he's had, it's not very graphic.
