He was about to hook up with Kevin in the pilot (finding a corpse floating in the river kinda killed the mood) and was still interested in the second episode, but they haven't done anything with that since then, so it's hard to tell if he's supposed to be bi or just in the closet

iZombie is back!!! yay!!!! *insert mandatory 'It's been 84 years' Titanic gif here (…y'know, if you can insert gifs in disqus)*

This episode didn't really work for me and I think part of the problem is that, Diane aside, most of the show's characters aren't very well developed, which makes it harder for me to care when the focus isn't on Diane.
Didn't really care about the firm's partners fighting because I know next to nothing about them to

Who knew in just one episode Hal could rise to the top of the Riverdale Worst Parent ranking. Just a bit more and he could even dethrone the Blossoms!

I think he is gay and, going by his scene with FP, it looks like he is developing feelings for Kevin. Or at least he's starting to feel bad about lying to him

I'm distorting reality because I'm saying some of the MC's characteristics (including his sexuality) are preset? I honestly don't see how I'm doing that.
My point is that JRPGs are usually not like Bioware games where you have much more control over who your character is because you're playing as a specific (if

Managed to finish Tales of Zestiria last weekend (well, I still have to do the post game dungeon, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna bother with it) and… that was not a good game. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't even the worst Tales game I've played (Xillia says hello) but it still was not good for many reasons

While I agree with you (wish we could've romanced Kanji or one of the Strenght SLink dudes in P4) JRPGs aren't usually about letting you completely mold the MC's personality/life, they're usually about letting you control a character who already has somewhat defined characteristics.
Even in Persona the MCs have some

Does it run well? I remember reading somewhere that at least some of the games in the collection had pretty noticeable stuttering, but I'm not sure if it was rumors or if it had been confirmed

It'll probably go down a little bit once more reviews are counted and they add the scores from print publications (Edge's score is not counted yet, for example) but it'll most likely stay above 90. Guessing 91-92

The last delay lowered my hype a bit, but this is still my most expected game of the year

Odds are they'll only keep the Japanese voice work, not the text. I can't think of a game that's actually kept the Japanese text when you have multi language options

That's one of the issues with most reviews of the Persona series (and other MegaTen games, to a lesser extent), Persona 4 casts such a big shadow (hehe) over the rest of the series that some reviewers assume things that only apply to 4 and maybe 3 apply to the rest of the series.
Like, the whole dating sim aspect

I'm confused, why do the cutaways to Rip not make sense? He's been trapped in a miniaturized ship that's running on emergency power for over a year, it makes sense that he's lost all hope and is going kinda nuts

I also want the writers to turn Caitlin into Killer Frost full time because while Panabaker seems really nice she's not what you'd call a great dramatic actress, but she is good when she gets more comedic scenes, so becoming a scenery chewing super villain would probably be a better use of her talents.

The shows overall writing may have gone way down this season, but if there's one bright spot in it is that the writing for Caitlin has improved a lot.
This season she got powers, got to do something other than stand around, got a few interesting stories (ok, yes, her relationship with Julian isn't all that interesting,

I actually thought this was the show's strongest episode because it brought all the storylines together. Everything worked very well together to make the episode feel like it was building on previous episodes.
Even Colin and Lucca's relationship (which I usually don't care about at all) worked because it finally showed

I had to stop watching P5 videos or even listening to the OST on Youtube because all my recommendations became people fighting the game's bosses. Luckily none of them had story spoilers in the title, but I'm sure it would've only been a matter of time before I saw one of the final boss

Quick Persona 5 warning: apparently some stores around NYC are breaking the street date and selling the game (seen quite a few pictures on reddit of people getting their steelcase editions) so there's more streams and spoilers than usual floating around. Be careful if you don't want to get spoiled!

I wasn't going to play Andromeda on launch because I'll be too busy in a couple of weeks ascending to a higher plane of existence playing Persona 5, but all the pre release chatter has made me think it's probably better to wait until the inevitable complete edition with all the DLC comes out.
