Did Emily pretend like the flare gun wasn´t working or something only to use it when Nolan was nearby and she was dead? I remember Emily doing something with the flare gun when Amanda was still alive so I assumed that at the end she was crying because she had lied to Amanda to get rid of her only to later notice that

A very similar thing happened back in season 2 (or early 3, IDK) with that plot about Diane planning to open a new firm. That plot had a ton of potential for new storylines and I would´ve loved it if the writers had pursued it (though I may be biased because, IMO, Diane is the best character on the show*), but it went

It's hard enough not to think of Megan Hilty when seeing Bailey Buntain and the musical number didn't help

I assumed her mom (or dad if he was paying for it) cancelled her card to force her to move in with one of them but when it became clear she was staying in Paradise they just opened a bank account for her with lots of money so they wouldn't have to worry about her but still feel like if she starves to death then it'll

this episode got a B? Really???? While I'm a firm believer that more CHORD OVERSTREET! can make any Glee episode better* this episode was just terrible. Kurt slut shaming Rachel? Artie talking with Finn about body image issues and there's no mention at all that Finn had the exact same plot in like two other episodes?

I think the difference is that Joel doesn't really care if Victor calls him dad as long as he can have a father-son relationship with him
Julia does care about stuff like that so it's a much bigger deal for her, especially because she is at home all day so she has to spend much more time with Victor than Joel

I assumed he was trying to make Alicia upset so she would have to step outside for a moment and he could call his client while she was out and say his client was available but she wasn't

She was in the show for the exact same reason all the other contestants who had been signed to labels before auditioning for the show: she either got dropped by the label or simply didn't get really big and the show is a good way to gain a new audience even if you don't win

IMO the right person won. Yeah, Cassadee didn't have the best voice in the competition but she was arguably one of the best performers this season. I don't remember her having a single bad performance all season other than maybe Payphone (which I blame on it being a bad song to begin with anyways) while pretty much

Actually they taped next season's blind auditions while NBC was airing this season's battles (or the last few auditions, IDK), so Blake wouldn't be able to brag about Cassadee winning. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they edit him bragging about Jermaine to make it seem like it's about Cassadee

the thing about the Ryan/Anne plot is that is wasn't supposed to be funny, it was just supposed to show that this people (or just Ryan, I guess) are actually growing. Steven and his date were there for the odd joke, but the main point of the plot was to show Anne moving on slowly from her wife's death and Ryan coming

Terry was great and Cassadee continued being good enough (she's probably the most commercially viable singer left but she doesn't have the best voice)
didn't love either of Nicholas performances but neither one was bad really, and Trevin was ok on his first performance (hilarious dance moves though) but really good in

how much time has passed since Amanda Peet's character was introduced and this episode? Because in the first one she was having a lot of trouble adjusting to civilian law, but in the last couple of episodes she's gone up against people far more experienced than her without much trouble

Alicia sexytimes and Diane laughing*? If they had included some annoyed Eli then this episode would've had everything I need from this show
