I think you have to watch the show, and The Talking Dead, for that matter, to really appreciate just what a blatant, poorly handled, cheap cop-out it was.

I would just like to say that Rufus Sewell makes an excellent Nazi, and with a flawless American accent.

It really does feel a bit like a twisting of the knife to continue this shitshow with a Newswire post on the weekend.

I have all my old SW toys, collected comics and action figures in the 90s, and currently collect dolls. I understand why pristine, unused toys or books are desirable, but video games? I mean, if I decide to leave a doll in her box (and I do debox many of my dolls), I can still at least display her and have the

I don't see it now because Disqus, but John actually did answer me in another thread. He said it comes up from time to time but ultimately they decide there's no point because now you can Google just about anything. He's right; I often see someone comment "This reminds me of x but I can't remember what it was

Nothing is a bigger waste than the Kardashians. I've only ever seen
clips of it on The Soup but I was 100% more
entertained by two minutes of JGL in Janet drag than any random 30
seconds I've seen of the Cardassians. Let me amend that: I was vastly entertained by JGL. My experience with the Kardashians ranges from

Good point. I hadn't thought of it in that light. Thank you for responding, and for doing this Q&A.

John, that would be most welcome. As it is I bookmark my favorite features so I can go directly to them in case I miss them on the main page. Sorry this is not related, but is there any chance that Ask the A.V. Club might be resurrected at some point?

Doh! I just thought of a question and I bet it's too late for it to be answered. Any chance there will be a return of Ask the A.V. Club at some point?

My workaround for this is to log back in on the main page then open the comment I want to reply to in a new tab. It's terrible for back and forth discussion though. They either need to fix the login issues or go back to a format with pagination.

I was a little afraid it was a sneaky way to introduce a new format. "These geeks can't not talk about Star Wars. By the end of the week they'll be used to it."

Thank you so much for addressing this, John, and what a relief.

This is new to me. What's the difference? The only slang usage of slapper I'm aware of is British, for girls who are…unattractive ho-bags, I think.

I hate this so much.

I did not mourn the passing of Web Soup, partly because of the "What Has Been Seen Cannot Be Unseen" segment. It was fine when they introduced it, but then they thought it would be funny if they randomly showed a clip with no warning. I, for one, was not amused.

That's what I was waiting for! And they never did. That's why I don't think anyone in production connected the two because that would have been such a slam dunk.

One thing I absolutely will not miss is the new intro for Chat Stew. *gag*

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they ever caught on that that kid was on Ru Paul's Drag Race a few years later.

The SO and I have been watching it while we eat lunch on Saturday afternoons for ten years. Ten years. I feel bereft. :[
