I remember going to Children's Palace not long after the figures came out and they had them on 'display' in a kiddie pool. Approximately half of them were C-3PO.

Yep. I waited months for that thing, and it finally came and no rocket launcher. I was still very happy to have him, but, you know.

Even worse: now they've bumped it by publishing another Random Roles so this won't even be the most recent, ICYM RR over the weekend. I have nothing against that Huskey gentleman, but there is no comparison to a guy who used to be on Best Week Ever and in Sonic commercials and a centenarian who acted on stage with

The commercials were for Smith Barney. Will is a leetle younger than I thought if he doesn't remember Houseman from those and The Paper Chase. I did watch Silver Spoons but don't remember Houseman on there at all.

I appreciate it when actors have the attitude of "A job's a job, it paid the rent and I had a great time!" but I don't blame Lloyd at all for wanting to give a handwave to the obvious paycheck roles. Considering his pedigree and age, I imagine he probably didn't have an awesome time just making the movie and is a

He didn't really say anything about Linklater, other than stating the fact that he was the director. His problem was with the characterization of himself and people he knew, i.e. the script, which Linklater didn't write.

My dad is 85. His short-term memory is for shit, and his long-term isn't much better. :/ I wish everyone could grow old and remain as lucid as Norman Lloyd.

It seems he loved them even more than you do!

What an amazing interview; someone who didn't just work with, but was friends with, John Houseman, Alfred Hitchcock, and Charlie Chaplin. And apparently was frenemies with Orson Welles! Thanks so much for this, Will, I enjoyed this tremendously.

And this is exactly why I still miss the old format. I have to keep feature pages bookmarked so I can check every day or so in case I missed something.

Guilty.

I definitely got the impression that he had lost time.

I voted yes. I don't smoke weed so I give no fucks in that regard. It's all about decriminalization.

In that case, you better hope Issue 2 doesn't pass.

When did Paul Westerberg turn into Lyle Lovett?

One of my favorite exchanges:

Oh my god, there were two of them. This one I hadn't even heard of.

Well, his brother *was* kicked off of Big Brother for headbutting another houseguest.

Yeah, I get it. I'm probably being over-sensitive because I have seen way too many of these shows. :/ Sorry.

1) Saying you don't take many moral stances in life but that you don't watch reality tv implies judgement and 2) if you aren't interested in it, why bother commenting? If you have watched some reality shows, why not just comment on those instead, even if it's just to say "I watched that, it was terrible"?
