I always thought that although Margaery had no hand in Joffrey's death, she knew what the plan was. I also don't consider that conversation between Olenna and Margaery in the show to necessarily mean Margaery didn't know in the books.

I started reading Love and Rockets in 1987, and I can't imagine jumping into the Maggie story (let alone Maggie and Ray) this late in the game. You don't need to read the really early fanciful Maggie the Mechanic stuff, but you have to at least go back to the Death of Speedy. Me, I'd go back and read everything,

Tell that to Alasdair.

I think To Live and Die in L.A. may be the worst (also starring William Petersen!), but yeah. I was a teen in the 80s, and it's cringe-inducing.

I haven't seen Red Dragon but I guarantee I would prefer Fiennes over Tom Noonan. Noonan is skeevy to the extreme, but not really menacing. It's like, "Him?" Which, granted, may be the point, but he just didn't work for me.

I just rewatched it last week too; you may be conflating scenes (I don't know the song played during the sex scene because I dozed off right about that time…creepy Tom Noonan and the lovely Joan Allen DO NOT WANT). The climax begins with Dollarhyde parked outside Joan's apartment when she comes home with a co-worker.

What an excellent choice for this feature! I loathe "The Lady In Red."

Not the same thing. The show sometimes illustrates scenes that were only alluded to in the book as part of the adaptation. It's established that wildlings rape and pillage south of the Wall - if they didn't no one would give a fuck about them. Also, there was a point to it: the wildlings are trying to draw out the

As a Columbus resident and owner of two tiki mugs from the Kahiki, I fully support your theft of those mementos.

So who do you like? If you say Sonia, all will become clear.

I noticed Norm's Pizza, but totally missed Wade's! There's also a Lou's something, which I assume is run by Molly's dad, but maybe it doesn't count since he's a regular character.

i caught that, and it was one of the reasons I wasn't expecting him to bite it in the first episode. I totally understood the reversal that she wasn't about to get up and fix him eggs, though.

That happens to me all the time. "I know that guy, what else has he been in?" I thought maybe Sam was Tate Donovan at first.

I thought it was only a couple - Oregon and New Jersey.

Shit, that never even occurred to me (probably because I don't eat a lot
of veggies). I always wondered why people bothered to do the
self-checkout when they have a bunch of produce because it's such a pain
in the ass to enter everything. Now I know they're all thieving
bastards!

Truly. I haven't worked retail in a long time, but we always counted out our drawers before and after, and if someone went on break that register was closed for the time being. Even if someone had to jump on a register, there were sign-in codes so you knew who was on when.

Holy shit, you made out like a bandit. If it were me and he came back I'd be nice and give back everything…except the N64.

Ugh, bad memories. Several years ago a friend and I had a severe falling out and there were several things I'd lent her that I never got back. The only one that sticks out though was a copy of A Spell For Chameleon. I know it's a shit book, but it meant something to me because my dad bought it for me while we were

I think that site's still out there somewhere, maybe with a differnet name. I seem to recall some vague rumblings that Hanks had an issue with alcohol, but a) that was several years ago and b) who doesn't?

The day I got my Boba Fett should have been one of mine, but in the meantime they'd ixnayed the rocket launcher. :(
