Completely agree.  I've always disliked (and disagreed with) the idea that a man and a woman can't be platonic friends, and generally television seems to follow that idea.  If they absolutely feel they must introduce romance (which I have no idea why they would feel they have to), they could always introduce recurring

Yeah, I guess I don't watch enough television to know who she was, either, so I didn't guess early on that it would be the secretary.  I guess that probably made the mystery itself more enjoyable to me.

I don't know, CBS has done just about everything right with Person of Interest, much to my surprise.  I'm…cautiously optimistic with this series (which I only first caught last week and was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it).

Canadian vampire cop show Forever Knight had at least two, I think.  I want to say both of the ones I remember took place in the actual police station, and one ended with the coroner's/love interest's brother getting shot and then turned into a vampire by the lead, which of course (SPOILERS) goes badly.

Yep, his CBS one was four seasons, and I seem to remember it being considered only "okay."  He'd had one on NBC in the late 60s/early 70s that ran for two seasons (and which I absolutely adore).  He was also in I, Spy, which was pretty successful.

The thing about this remake is, it cost 200 million.  And the reviews so far have been mixed-to-negative, and I'm not seeing a shit-ton of promotion for this (though that could be just me).  Can this thing even make back its budget?

Just dropping in to say excellent first review, sir.  I know not of wrestling (I think I played some wrestling video games when I was a kid), but I got a kick out of this review.  Very well done.  I hope you stick around.

You're an asshole.  A big one.

I'm on the Internet and I'm angry that people like and support something I don't like!  They must be stupid people or coerced in some way!  The presence of this artist that I hate and don't understand takes away from the artists that I like!  OUTRAGE!

The doctor did have a line to Dorium - "Barely even got singed in that boat."
