I dunno, Post Tenebras Lux seems an unconventional choice for Director, and Reality wasn't supposed to be too popular, either, which shows some sort of risk-taking, surely. Moreover, a lot of people had written off Haneke's chances due to the 'too soon after the last one' idea. It might not be risky, but it's nice

Surely the full experience would be if he watched half of the movie and then walked out?

I've learned a new word today: Bugfuck.

It's ranked 431 on They Shoot Pictures, Don't They? which is nowhere near high enough in my opinion, but at least it shows that's it's appreciated.

Perhaps you and HipsterDBag could campaign to have her played by Chloe Grace Moretz.

Looks like Tim Burton's mailbox is going to be overflowing with letter from the AV Club boards!

If there's any positive to be taken from Malick's woefully small filmography, it's that it makes being a Malick completist very easy! Anyway:

Read this in the Empire obituary, amazing.

I've done this ever since I started going to the cinema but I actually left The Avengers early because I was with a friend and the ushers were getting impatient, plus I thought that the first post-credit sequence was all they were going to show. I heard that the second one was only shown in America, though, so I might

Wall-E is in my all time top ten, so it's gotta be that. Toy Story is top 20 material, though, and to be honest they're all amazing other than Cars which is merely alright. I haven't seen Cars 2 or A Bug's Life (well, I have but when I was about 8 and I don't really remember it).

I suggest a change to Haunted House

Don't you mean you ru-ed it?

No worries.

What? I even wrote 'fucking' earlier on in my post; clearly I have no problem with swearing. The reason I used the term 'f-bomb' is due to the usage of the word in the book: [MILD SPOILER ALERT] the main character uses the word 'effing' a lot during his narration in place of when someone says 'fucking', so when one

I think this is one instance in which the 'young adult' tag is pretty misleading. These books are fucking dark and the author does not shy away from difficult moral dilemmas and intense violence. I haven't read 'The Hunger Games' but I imagine that it will be much harder to translate these to the screen with a PG-13

They are very cool and original, the first one especially. There's a villain in the second and third books who is, I think, one of the best I've ever encountered (he's in the first one too but not as prominent). Kaufman is better than I ever could have hoped for in terms of bringing this to the big screen.

Can I just say as someone who has read the books: yesssssssssssssssssssssss. That is all.
