I had my blu-ray drive go out too a few years ago. Fortunately it was still under warranty. What model do you have? I had a 60gb fat that I bought in '07. Given the hardware issues that the old models had, I think I got pretty lucky to have one that went six years.

I finished 11/22/63. I was entertained by it, and I never felt that it lagged. As soon as I finished that I started Different Seasons and am about halfway through Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.

I'm about 75 percent of the way through 11/22/63. Its very enjoyable, and its the first King book I've read. I don't know how I never read any of his stuff before-just never happened, I suppose. I'm looking to remedy that, and I've already borrowed Different Seasons, which I'll start as soon as I finish 11/22/63.

Same here. In elementary school, I would order the books out of the Scholastic book catalog, and go to the library to check out the ones I didn't have.

My parents wouldn't allow me to buy CDs with the parental advisory label on it. This led to me putting in way too much effort to find a way to listen to Limp Bizkit. They were right to do it.

It does have seasons 1-2 of The Shield up through June, and supposedly the rest of the series will follow. Of course, the entire series is available on Amazon Instant, but alas, I went with Netflix.

I only got to see Slayer once, but it was during the American Carnage tour with Megadeth and Testament when they played Seasons in the Abyss in it's entirety. Great fucking show.
