On Saturday I continued with season 3 of Parks and Rec. Later on I took pictures during filming of a couple reenactments for the Outdoor Channel. It was a small production, but still neat to see the makeup (one of the effects was a puncture wound through the hand) and how things are set up.

Rusting in peace.

WILL SOMEBODY ANSWER THAT DAMN PHONE?

Now, it's illegal to televise court proceedings in this state, so we'll have to be quiet.

Tragic news tonight: 120 dead in a tidal wave in Kuala Lala…pure…Kuala-Lum…per———France!

Should have never gone to the old mill.

Don: "Stan, where did you get a hand grenade?"
Stan: "I don't know."

KHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

I reached episode 13 in season two of Parks and Rec. I didn't start watching the show until this season, so it's nice to see how things got started. I agree with a lot of people in that the show definitely hits it's stride in the second season.

I joined the 21st century and got internet in my apartment, and the first thing I did was sign up for Netflix. Among the things I watched:

Cut to shot of Rob Schneider in a dog suit fellating Adam Sandler.

The lice hate the sugar.

Good for washing down a heaping helping of Cream of Toast.

I call the box of Raisin Bran Crunch.

It's a Die, Die, Die, Die Hard World.

I'm loving both of them. What I've decided to do is finish A Storm of Swords before Season 3 starts, then go through the rest of the books when the season ends. I think the toughest thing will be going through all the books and then waiting like everyone else for the newest installment. Kind of like when I was able to

I watched Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers on Sunday. I never gave fantasy a chance back when the movies first came out, and only recently got into the genre thanks to Game of Thrones. It goes without saying that the first two Lord of the Rings were excellent, and I'm hoping to finish up

Megadeth-Rust in Peace: "Holy Wars…The Punishment Due/Hangar 18

It is by far the game that has had the biggest emotional impact on me. Telltale did a great job and I'm glad they're being rewarded with some Game of the Year nods from various outlets.

OK, I'll get you a Mounds bar.
