@avclub-eee6e49e09ab1c283e2d7689d45a7b4b:disqus I read that comment as meaning that in the early stages of the game he never expected to be voting for Cochran. Remember his early gloating in confessionals about he wasn't keeping Cochran around for long.

@EmElle:disqus That's possible. I did have to wonder what get left on the cutting room floor this season, as there did seem to be strong tone of dislike for her. Still, given that she made it to final three, the show might have been better served leaving in parts that showed why she was so disliked.

@EmElle:disqus Yeah, she did it briefly. It was mixed in with a torrent of her usual insecure stuff, so I am not surprised you missed it.

@avclub-858b67085072a6f2403cf500871f4068:disqus Seriously? You think Erik was going to vote for her but changed his mind because she hurt his feelings?

Sherri making that waste-of-space Erik sit down was the first time I have rooted for her all season.

I'm with the people that think that Erik looked far worse than Sherri in all that. I don't really get the comment that Sherri had no self-awareness either. Her melt-down during her opening was as clear a moment of self-consciousness as I have ever seen. By the time Erik tore into her, I think she was pretty clear on

The jury really did come off as unreasonably mean to Sherri at times. I didn't expect her to get votes, but I didn't see any reason to pick at her either/

@avclub-7e1e22a62ee38a4a0fb3e0daf5be492e:disqus I think she would have taken Cochran. Part of Dawn's weakness is she doesn't appreciate at all what a psychic vampire she is. She is constantly feeding on everyone around her with breakdowns and need for assurance. Cochran's management of Dawn was every bit as impressive

Dawn was a ruthless backstabber, who wanted everyone she stabbed in the back to feel sorry for her how much pain it caused her to stab them all. Nobody is going to vote for that shit.

@avclub-4b3a41c159badf041d5cb5f7cb2f38b8:disqus I think the reason she failed to get a single vote is because she did stuff like doing what Malcolm asked. There's a big difference between winning over a jury and doing every humiliating thing the jury asks of you. Her increasing willingness to do anything just showed

I was highly entertained by Dawn and Eddie during the last elimination vote. They had both privately told Cochran why he should take them because they had no chance. That was fair enough. But then they felt the need to repeat their arguments on why they shouldn't win before the jury. I loved the cut to Sherri looking

It was pretty cold how Probst started talking to Reynold while Andrea was still talking. She had a lock of shock that her time to talk was done already.

I was pretty disgusted that Brenda did that. Still, I was equally disgusted that Dawn did it. Dawn was practically grovlling before the whole jury the whole time. Even when she was "owning her game", it just felt like her owning because she was asked to.

It was pretty amazing how much audience goodwill Brenda squandered in seconds with that craziness. I was also stunned that Dawn did it. Between that and her answer to Malcolm, she really did come off as the trained monkey who would do any trick you asked for the million dollars. The whole thing just goes to show that

@avclub-7b1955c0927ae649958ccb84769fcaa9:disqus I'm not sure this makes her any safer from Joffrey's crossbow. She is getting paired up with the guy Joffrey has tried to have killed twice.

@E.Buzz Miller. Sure, he like not being loathed, but he liked Margaery because he can be openly sick and vile in front of her AND not be loathed by her. As for the public, has the adoration of crowds ever made anyone a better person?

I thought Lady Tyrell buggered Tywin pretty well with her incest jab, Working him up to be all self-righteous about homosexuality before she hit him with it was just beautiful.

If RTD did, I suspect Moffat burned it. He has shown no interest in revisiting RTDs plot threads.

It's kind of funny, as people were all bitching about Clara stealing the Doctor's thunder in Rings, and complaining that she got in on talking down the alien and Cold War. Now she sucks because she never does anything.

@avclub-008bf13a8f7be64451ccbe21fb672c96:disqus Yeah, I love a good double vote, but you can't do it when there is one guy left on the outside. Now a double vote would be a lot more interesting.
