I think Alicia was generally rattled  by Colton leaving. Hopefully she won't get her confidence back any time soon. One advantage she has it that the neither the dominant tribe nor the women's alliance saw her act with Colton when they were allied, so she isn't quite as obviously awful to them. And of the people who

Of course, Colton's decision to take a visit to tribal robbed the women of their chance to get rid of Alicia (not that it was in any way intentional). She is by far the most likely to screw up the power the women now have by doing something inane and destructive.

Well, Kim laid out her strategy, if you missed it. Getting rid of Jonas means both removing a guy and a member of the rival tribe. So while she isn't even sure herself how the power is split, it's a win for her either way. If anyone else has a deep strategy, they kept it to themselves.

At least Phillip never shat himself. Give credit where credit is due.

I guess Jonas gets the consolation of knowing her got voted off because he was too likable, and supposedly smart. I guess that's better than getting voted out because everybody hates you.

It would have been an especially interesting idea with the complete uncertainty this week.

I thought the shitty look Leif gave Jeffafter being eliminated in the immunity challenge was a good counterpoint to the way Jeff kept gleefully mocking Leif for being the smallest during the reward challenge.

Making Hyperion a movie is almost a foolhardy as someone attempting Watchmen. Each of the stories within stories is a different science-fiction, literary sub-genre. It might be possible, but it would require both some bold vision and a huge budget, and it's not often that those two elements come together.

Karma is basically the same crap Pat Robertson sells when her says that people who die in tornadoes had it coming, but packaged for hippies. It's hard to think of a more smug, awful concept than saying that people simply deserve what happens to them.
Sorry to be off-topic, but that's just an insufferable concept. The

Him saying stuff just to shake things up as bad as well (although probably not quite as bad is hating women). It just interferes with the game. If the women had gone to Tribal and voted off Alicia, it would always be a question of whether it was a legitimate play against her, or everyone just following the lead of the

That wouldn't make him more evil. That would just suggest a level of integrity that he lacks. I'm sure if there was another gay guy on the tribe he would target him next.

People like to complain about the trade negotiations and stuff us being the reason these movies are boring, but it really isn't true. The trade negotiations never happen in Phantom Menace, it just goes to a fight. None of the Senate scenes have much to them either.

There was also a part of the episode where the guys where talking about how they didn't get the women. Colton leapt in with the comment that even he didn't get women. Sorry, Colton. Being gay doesn't actually give you any insight in female psychology. I think he demonstrated pretty well in the second episode that he

I think Matt and Alicia would have been oil and water in the same tribe. Matt stinks of a life of privilege, while Alicia is just kind of trashy. They are both bullies, but incompatible ones.

Yeah, Alicia really poisoned her tribe by setting the standard that there can never be any negotiation with the men or you are a traitor. It was satisfying to see her sent away from the fire because she couldn't cut what was a fairly simple deal.

The only thing that has made Colton tolerable has been the fact that he was in a position to help destroy Matt. With Matt gone, Colton is clearly the worst person on the show. I don't know if his allies are cold-blooded enough to take him out so fast though. And it honestly wouldn't be that smart a move. Picking off a

Rick was worse than a waste of space. He passively prevented anything interesting ever happening in Coach's tribe. At least the little person has given us the wry "Classic Tarzan" line.

@avclub-db0c35ce2663c0e8c4b3f38642a49748:disqus I'd forgotten about Bill calling out Colton. That was pretty great.  Probably a terrible strategy though. Colton will be a lot less likely to back down on voting off Bill next time.

It's a good idea, but it's hard to keep a lie like that going with so many people involved. Once we get post-shuffle/merge, its likely at least one of the guys will try to ingratiate himself with the girls. And its entirely possible that someone will be Colton. At this point, though, I wouldn't be surprised if he
