Oh, if only that were true.
Oh, if only that were true.
Troyzan's reaction to Matt tryin to win him over was enough to get me on his side. After two seasons of morons blindly following the tribe celebrity, it's nice to have people who can smell bullshit when it is served to them.
I suspect that Matt wrote his ticket off the island with his awkward intrusion into the strategy session. Colton probably would have been able to keep it on Bill, but Matt just had to demonstrate why he needed to go. In Matt's own head, what he did was pretty bad ass though.
I don't think it mattered that is mattered under the circumstances. You keep the idol a secret for when you have a minority and want to blindside. Colton had the majority alliance, and his allies know he has it. Secrecy wouldn't have mattered.
Personally, I think the movie was seriously lacking in ambition. Snyder set out to make a frame-by-frame remake, and it is one reason the whole thing feels so inert and stilted. I would much rather have seen a movie that willing to take liberties with the story by a director who had something to say.
Ah, thanks @avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus . I was a little off there. I knew she couldn't just sit on it though.
The note said she had to immediately give it away. She didn't have a lot of choice in the matter.
Normally, I would totally agree, and I do agree that throwing a round would be a laughable mistake. If you have a plan to take out one of the meatheads, at least get as many weeks use out of them before you pick them off.
I disliked her last week for that alone. Despite that, she won me over this week. I worry about her in the leadership spot, as she is setting herself up for blame, and any attempt to actually whip the tribe into shape could build resentment. She really should have pushed out Kat, and picked up one of the other girls…
Of course, Coulton has the idol and the plan to get one of the Ken dolls off. That would make it pretty amusing if they threw a challenge to get rid of him and lost a member themselves.
I understand the need to focus on the losing tribe during the episode, but they could at least give us some bonus scenes of what is going on with the men. All the bonus scenes this week are of the women, and they don't reveal anything that wasn't said in the episode.
I'm so sick of these pointless Community updates. In protest, I'm not even going to read this one. I've had enough.
You make a good point about techno-babble. I've been watching the first season of Fringe lately. I'm happy to buy into the fake science, but every time they try explain it, it wakes up the skeptical part of my brain by bringing up real science in the first place.
The pole-dancing comment looks bad out of context, but I took it as pure sarcasm. It was pretty obvious they had no intention of making that a serious deal.
I think the problem is that Matt is a louder douche. Keith was a mactor who had no interest in playing the game. 90% of the time, he was scenery. I don't think Matt is going to be that easy to ignore.
Another point is that they would have continued at a disadvantage. The women would have had a smaller team to get the end, which could have helped them catch up.
Yeah, Alicia should be grateful about the injury. It's the only reason she is still in the game.
I think Carrie is upset about the outcome of the challenge for the wrong reasons. The challenge was pretty clearly to get your whole team to the end, so awarding the win to the men was fine. What was dickish was announcing that the women had lost, but then putting the men on the spot to continue. I realize they did it…
"A, My Name is Alex" is an episode of Family Ties where a character dies. He's been foreshadowing his death every time he says it. Can this show get any more meta?
Mispost. Do not read.
