I managed to make it through the first half and the second half is much better. The character moments get a lot darker it turns into more of a drama/comedy than a joke bombardment animation comedy. It gets so much better for it. It's just a matter of making you care in the first half of episodes that hurts it because…

The Full Version of the Terriers Theme "Gunfight Epiphany" is fantastic.

Him as the running man, only for him to take off his mask to reveal that he is Joe Biden.

The only A+ Venture Brothers episode is "Escape to the House of Mummies Part 2"  for me.

One thing we CAN say about all this:

The over the top violence of the second episode slayed me. A truck hitting a train, turning into smoky dust. And Muscleman using his gut to plant someone's face into a wall.

Every time he says something it's an incantation… To my heart.

All Venture Bros episodes need more Orpheus. I just want him to say everyday things in his distinct cadence like: "PIZZA ROLLS!"

I can see how killing Dr. Venture would certainly move forward some character development for others on the show. I don't think Rusty is quite done yet, though. I'd like to see him move forward as a better human being before he goes.

The Tron Bit was perfect. I can't think anything to make that scene better.
