Same here! It made the character sadder, in my mind, to have around Nucky as a reminder. And now I'm kicking myself because of course it's freaking Tommy and the smart-as-hell commenters here would've nailed it.

Then it becomes SCRUMTRULESCENT.

DI-A-RRHEA! DI-A-RRHEA!

I love everyone on that show (seriously, Adam Pally is a gem), but Chris Messina locked the best spot down when he danced for Mindy to Aaliyah's "Try Again."

Agree! Bottom line for me, even when the plot isn't stellar, the jokes always land. Mostly I just love spending half an hour with the Nine-Nine.

And running his mouth off.

Every so often I rewatch that scene — it's one of my favorites in the whole series. Richard so righteous and offended, and Mickey half-dressed and stammering. And Nucky, absolutely bewildered at why they're storming into his office.

It's actually one of my favorites. "I'm too dreamy to remember groceries!"

Underarms clean? Cunts braided?

Garret Dillahunt is amazing. If we can't have Ian McShane (*sobs*) I'll still be really happy about this casting news!

A solid if mostly laying-the-groundwork-type episode. Mostly I just missed having this show and its beautiful cinematography on my TV. The Havana scenes were particularly pretty, ear slicing aside.

You guys, I found the key to @avclub-4e47f6a561dbe6724a331cf235f76e8a:disqus's file cabinet!

Damn, I forgot all about that scene and now I'm super fucking sad again.

THIS TRULY IS THE CUP OF THE KING OF KINGS

That was awesome. The coin rolling around was my favorite touch.

I got tears in my eyes when he saw Shae, and when he delivered the "I confess to the crime of being a dwarf" line with so much frustrated fury I was legitimately choked up.

His delivery of "hello, pants" kills me.

"EYES CLOSED, HEAD FIRST, CAN'T LOSE!"

Seriously. I'm unable to read anything in these reviews without getting choked up.

I'm inclined to agree with you on Billy—but then I remember his and Mindy's relationship with Becky in the later seasons. This show finds a way to group characters you wouldn't imagine (Billy & Mindy plus Becky? What?) and damn if they don't bring out some amazing stuff.
