I am! Nothing glamorous and by no means my dream job, but I do get paid on the regular to generate words and arrange them somewhat creatively on a page. And hey, that's all we can ask these days, I guess. Very good luck on your also-writing-words-in-some-fashion work!

I couldn't think of a better way to open the comments on a story as sad as this — really good advice. Thank you for sharing something so deeply personal, @avclub-cfd7aa3a1381b07de42347b89852dec5:disqus. I'm glad you're still with us.

Thank you very much for sharing your story, @avclub-57321d2ab73d45595165d77091712f05:disqus. I'm glad you seem to have that support structure you mentioned. Hope 2014 is a great year for you, buddy.

Beautifully said, @avclub-6ee934260c80f2e2f9098dcd3e44c032:disqus. I'm with you!

One of my favorite things about seeing The Americans on all these lists is the fact that it was only its first season. There were a lot of amazing TV premieres this year (Sleepy Hollow, Brooklyn 99 and OITNB were my other faves) but The Americans just came out firing on all cylinders from the start.

I would absolutely be on board with that. Adam Pally has been a gem on The Mindy Project this season.

Upvoted for the Sleepy Hollow and Elementary love — two shows that I feel like I'm constantly having to describe, elaborate on, break down in detail, then scream frantically "But it's GOOD!" to people.

That's pretty much how I feel. They spin their wheels so much throughout the season that it makes me crazy. And then we reach the last two episodes and it destroys me.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE FOR NOW!

I fell in love with that show so quickly. And @drinkingclub:disqus, Monk was absolutely my favorite character. The foul-mouthed monkey puppet steals the show every time.

Compelling and rich.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK

He's not everyone's cup of Earl Grey, but I liked him a great deal in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. After that, I caught up on Sherlock, and then I saw the appeal. That's really the make-or-break show if you want to see why he gets folks so worked up.

I worried about that, too, but then I remembered I could psych myself up by rewatching the first two seasons just before the premiere. That should do the trick, guv'na!

"Pussy's half-price the next 15 minutes!"

"You is kind, you is smart, you is terrifying."

Michelle Pp-fifers!
