I saw "The Hunting Ground" at a free screening on Friday, with a Q&A afterwards with people who work with campus rape victims and one of the people who interviewed for the film. Really powerful and emotional.

Luck of the Fryish is without a doubt my favorite episode of Futurama ever, and potentially my favorite episode of television. Every element works so beautifully. The cuts between the past and present (aka the future) are really great (especially the first one with toy rocket and the ship). The emotional gut punch at

The Tale of Princess Kaguya is one of the best films of 2014 and certainly one of the 100 best in the past five years.

The Artist is essentially one big homage but it fails to actually have its own identity. If has the aesthetic of a silent film, a plot reminiscent of Singin' in the Rain and a scene even has the score to Vertigo. It just felt like art appreciation without being a piece of art itself.

A Separation is a staggering masterpiece, I'm glad it ranked so high. Boyhood and Under the Skin, my two favorite movies of 2014, are quickly moving into my top 10 favorite films of all time. They are that good.

I'm still so happy that critics rallied around Margaret back in 2011 and managed to give it a wider audience and even a DVD release. It's one of the most fascinating and ambitious movies I've ever seen. Can't really decide if I like the 2.5 hour theatrical cut or the 3+ hour director's cut. It's really something

What Work are you Currently Neglecting Thread?

Senior year of high school, I played with some boobies before fingering a girl. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed them. In fact, it delayed my coming out a bit longer because I did kind of enjoy it. No, not the same kind of enjoyment when I'm with a guy, but it was different. Maybe it wouldn't be the same now.

I could see that. I'm quite aware of how gay I am (aggressively so. I'm sure you picked up on that), but I can't seem to get over the boob thing. I don't know!

When you exclusively sleep with men, this kink is harder to enjoy.

I really like boobs. Can't explain it, I just love 'em. I do not like man boobs (moobs?) though, which is why I'm never sexually satisfied.

I am so glad that Zero Dark Thirty got mentioned here. Back in 2012, it was all over the news about how Ben Affleck got snubbed for Argo, an incredibly mediocre film, while no one seemed to care about Kathryn Bigelow not getting a nomination. It's such a brilliant movie, with a bravura performance from Jessica

After her runway this week, I hope she plays Jaws in drag.

Sorry Michelle, but if you're going to complain about Max wearing a grey wig again, do it when her look isn't flawless. She looked beautiful and the concept was great. Ginger, on the other hand was a hot mess. I don't care the editors are clearly saying "She's making it to the top three," she is a nasty one. Also,

Black Swan deserves more praise. It's batshit insane with some really interesting cinematography and production design. One of my personal favorites from the last five years.

It certainly deserves to be in the top 10, and I think #1 is perfectly acceptable. That's where it lands on my personal ballot. It's an incredible movie in my opinion. Just watched it for a fifth time a couple of weeks ago and it keeps getting better and better.

I appreciated The Tree of Life but I didn't love it. A gorgeous movie, with some amazing acting from the child actors… it's just so all over the place and long-winded. I was simultaneously bored and mesmerized while watching it.

I also heard that and thought "this is the solution to all my problems" but I too have yet to get a cock to try it on.

I find the idea of giving blow jobs appealing and exciting but I get bored quickly when I'm actually giving one. Also I have a really sensitive gag reflex so I can see why people don't really like it.

I don't think I have any weird turn ons and everything in my life is going surprisingly well. I continue to get drunk at a Whole Foods on a weekly basis after my night classes, but who doesn't occasionally get shit faced at a grocery store? That's a thing people do, right?
