Musical projects
Old news, but Adult Swim is also apparently producing a album that has El-P doing beats for Killa Mike. I am very excited about this development.

Wait what
Didn't this series already get a prequel in Godfather Part II?

Not that surprising
This makes sense - The Rock is actually working on the copy desk at the New York Times right now, preparing for a lead role in the remake of All The President's Men. Word travels fast in a newsroom like that.

And is The Walking Dead in syndication now or something?

Rip-off
"I've already mentioned the story of Ralphie's pathetic attempts to improve his love life by ditching Rosalie for Janice (who appears to enjoy treating him like a prostitute)."

I have to know
Did anyone ask Mickey Rourke about Ghostbusters 3? He's vaguely associated with Bill Murray now, so I'm sure anything he would say on the topic would spread across the internet like wildfire.

PUT ON THE SUNGLASSES
I SAID PUT ON THE DAMN GLASSES

Best Show?
I'm just starting to try and listen to The Best Show after hearing so many good things about it, but I can't seem to get into it at all. I gave 30 minutes into the two regular episodes I listened to, and I didn't enjoy the Gene Simmons gem at all.

They could just bring back Pam Grier as Rufus. Or, you know, time travel, young Rufus, respect the actor's death and exclude the character, whatever.

I hate this phrase as much as anyone else, but "Bill and Ted's Epic Failure" would capture the flavor of the dumb slang they used in the first two, the general storyline they seem to be planning, and it sounds like a fit with the rest of the titles.

I think if you're going to resurrect any franchise from the 80s, this has the best shot at actually capturing some of what made the originals so appealing.

The same could be said of all religions.

I guess I should have red my own writing before posting, too.

AWESOME
I didn't red the article, but I assume this means that they're bringing back The Single Guy in some form?

ARMAGEDDON 2013
I keep waiting for the market on comic-book movies to crash, but it hasn't yet. It'll be a miracle if it can survive the upcoming slate of Marvel team-up flicks and DC's also-rans, though.

That's kind of a different situation - bestseller lists increase awareness and prestige of a product, and you can always print another run when those copies "sell out". When you're working with a limited quantity that you're interested in selling all of, telling people that they won't be able to get it seems backwards.

Very.

Business class
Wouldn't giving the impression that your show is sold out be a bad business move? You're just discouraging people from seeking out tickets by doing so.
