Yeah, if you can get Bonds and Griffey and not have to give up that much, you're doing something right. That's some Andrew Friedman shit right there.

And Estelle's response, shaking with rage, "I HAVE NO EYE FOR FASHION!!!!" is just as good.

Just kidding, I totally agree with you. I have a friend who's a huge spoiler-phobe, but even for stuff like Jersey Shore. That's just irritating.

Do we have to link to the spoiler study again?

I like Curb, but I don't see how it is in any way "more sophisticated" than Seinfeld. If anything, I feel like it's less. Because of the improv, the dialoge isn't nearly as sharp and layered (and I know that makes me sound like a complete tool, but whatever, it's true).

They can have one pull the whole "Fuck it, we'll do it live!" routine and it will feel way too on point.

S'mores (although it's hard to find)
Phish Food
Chocolate Fudge Brownie

You're right. The Billy Goat was there first.

That was a concern for me, too, but we'll still be able to catch most of Oregon-LSU after the movie (unless you were planning on chilling in the chat for hours after the movie ended).

It's a two hour movie. Still plenty of time afterward for Saturday night activities.

This movie kicked ass. I'll be there at 7 and will get irrationally angry at anyone who disagrees.

Like a lot of of the "slower" Lost episodes, TTiD is a lot better the second time through on DVD. But week-to-week it's easier to crave the more mind-blowing mystery stuff.

X-Files is a tough one because anything without Mulder is generally pretty brutal. So not counting those, I'd agree with Fight Club. The one with Tony Shalhoub isn't very good, either.

I didn't like "My Old Kentucky Home" from season 3 very much. That'd definitely be at the bottom for me if it wasn't for Roger in blackface and Pete and Trudy dancing.

I HATED "Across the Sea" when it first aired. That was the only time that had ever happened with that show for me. But if you watch it again knowing where everything goes (and if you liked the whole "light of the Island" part of it) it's kind of good.

One of my favorite pieces of dialog in the whole series.

Some might call it unbridled enthusiasm.

George might have been disappointed that he had to see Ponce de Leon instead of Prognosis Negative (I think), but it still produced this little gem:

Ghost Horace clearly stated in Locke's dream that it was a getaway from him and the missus. So if you can't take a ghost's word for it, then there's no helping you.

Goddammit, doesn't anyone want to talk about The Big C?!?
