In fairness, he only pushed the issues that Sara should have foreseen - the hot kitchen, etc. He didn't say she should have put broken cream on the plate.

Honestly, if the finale is the same as last year's, I might not even watch. Last year's finale wasn't just a step down in quality - it was genuinely bad TV. Not even factoring in the "Oh, five minutes left on the DVR, I guess Kristin won" aspect.

It… well, it is a spoiler. Though they could spin it that one of them just got eliminated? But I'd say that's a poor choice for a cover picture.

Oh, definitely. I knew it'd come down to Nick for both the kitchen and a dish they loved, or Travis who ran the front "better than anyone ever in Restaurant Wars" and a competent dish.

Agreed. I love Dance, but it's another highly repetitive song featuring Pharrell.

There's not many songs I can't see being someone's favorite song on the album.

While he's clearly talented, I wouldn't mind seeing Justin go - and soon.

I kind of wish the gimmicks were kept away from LCK. I like these kinds of challenges for Quickfires, but LCK should be the chefs battling each other simply based on cooking. It's like whenever the finale has any sort of curveball thrown in - just let them cook really good food.

I thought the win should have gone to Travis. Sara's crash and burn only exemplified how good a job Travis was doing, to say nothing of comparing his work to every other Restaurant Wars ever.

Don't worry, I already know I don't listen to cool music.

I could honestly do with a shorter beginning for Touch, but once the music gets going, Touch is fantastic. The music, and that choral ending. So good.

They're also my go-to for long drives / plane trips, etc. It's easier to get lost in a comedy special and not notice 50 minutes just passed, compared to an album of music.

It certainly won't go down in history as a landmark achievement in comedy, but I thought Steve Rannazzisi's Manchild was very enjoyable.

Some of the comedy albums I've purchased have been some of my best investments, in terms of dollars spent to times re-listened. The early Neil Hamburger albums' ratios are approaching infinity.

I saw Gaffigan at Gotham, maybe two years or so before Beyond the Pale hit. Granted, Gotham isn't a tiny venue, but it was great for him.

Yeah, I don't see how Nathan or Daily Show falls under the Sketch umbrella.

I HATED Alex in the first season of Chopped - she was genuinely awful. I think it was an act the producers wanted her to put on, though. She's not like that in anything else I've seen, so I think she was trotted out as the Simon Cowell-esque judge, and it didn't work.

Also, when did Ted go to an acting coach who told him his best option was to change his speaking method into a loud, halting yelp? He didn't talk like that on Queer Eye, this seemed to start with Chopped and Food Detectives.

I honestly have zero idea how the shows compare to each other, ratings-wise. My viewing of FN shows feels like it's in a vacuum.

Every time I see this listed on the guide, I just wish it was a rerun of Supermarket Sweep.
