People hate Ferry, and rightfully so. But I honestly think I'd rather watch him than Irvine. Irvine is just creepy to watch - he genuinely doesn't seem to understand how to interact with humans.

Also, if you haven't read it, Heat is a very fun book about someone working in Batali's kitchen.

Having seen the episodes so much, when watching a repeat, I do wish some of the "plot" would move along faster. But I'm fine with it being in there, because, especially in the first bunch of seasons, it really showed he was having fun with the show and the format.

They should just have Adam Gertler host it. I always liked him, and he could use a TV job.

Despite its myriad flaws, I really like Chopped. Despite the porn lighting and budget, the "uplifting" stories, the repetitive judge banter, and lots of other annoying things, it's enjoyable.

I still haven't figured out the Cooking Channel's schedule for this. I look forward to recording a bunch of the episodes on Saturday night, despite having seen each episode approximately twelve times. But some Saturdays, it'll be on for like three hours, then other Saturday's there will be some other, inferior show

It's entertaining in a "I'll watch this instead of staring at the wall for 45 minutes" way, but Alton is way too go for it.

Brian and Tall Guy is, without hyperbole, one of my favorite running sitcom jokes ever.

Just don't plan on any dodgeball.

Talk about having now idea how to blow this guy.

Party Down casting, and the Caplan appearance showing that the Ruxin family involves Kroll, Goldblum, and Caplan? Gold.

When the two doctors were talking, I kept hoping Rob Huebel would walk in as the new assistant, or something.

I know it's not the same without the sound, but…

I love when old real-life stories of Merchant and Gervais make their way into their shows. This episode's haggling with tipping the bouncer was straight out of their XFM show.

For me, it's always a toss up between C&H and Peanuts. I say "toss up", but I always say C&H. I guess this is a stupid way of saying Peanuts is my second-favorite strip ever.

Can't agree with that review. This was my favorite episode of the season.

I always thought that about the breathing breakdown of Personal Jesus. Seems like a fast way to pass out on stage.

If Russ Thompson can learn how, anyone can!

Except he's not. Jonathan is (second from left).
