I like Dave Barry's story about going to see Alien with some friends, and seeing Stephen King curled up in fear with his arms around his wife.
I'm with you. MacGruber rules.
I saw it in a theater the first week, and the audience was mostly into it. I wish I had known less going in, but it was a blast.
I never would have noticed that. Watching The Simpsons from an early age probably conditioned me to think it's perfectly normal when fictional characters wear the same clothes every day.
I know it's just a typo, but I think "purr terror" would be a great name for the cat jump-scare trope in horror movies.
Comedy Bang! Bang! did a pretty great parody of that scene, where the fiance and his buddy make increasingly stupid predictions. I think it culminates with them burning money because "this so-called 'paper currency' will never catch on."
…and Mac is the best at radiating pure joy while a pool filter sucks on his butt.
"Okay we'll do it your way, I'm just here to have fun."
Good Lord, that's dark.
I can't believe it took more than 5 minutes before someone posted this.

If this leads to a bunch of Trump-loving idiots trying to force themselves to enjoy Danzig's music, I'm all for it.
That joke blew my mind when I first heard it as a 7 year old.
Not every movie can be as perfectly seamless as Star Wars, or Pumaman.
I've never seen Logan's Run, so I'm gonna go ahead and do this. Thanks!
I have always and will always love the original trilogy, and other than some awkward compositing and transparency, I think the effects still look amazing. But they came out before I was born, and I really wish I could have the experience of seeing the original film for the first time as a kid in the 70s, just to see…
American Graffiti is good, but it's not Red Tails-good.
Sorry that your best Star Wars memory was immediately followed by such a mediocre Star Wars memory.
Watching The Empire Strikes Back on VHS with my family when I was 4 years old. I remember seeing the Imperial probe droid rising over the snow dunes on Hoth and asking my mom "Is that a good guy?"
