It does seem like it'd be better suited to have this show reviewed by someone who appreciates it for what it is and not trying to mold it to something else.  I suspect I'm not making myself clear but I'm not saying it's unacceptable to have a reviewer not like an episode, but in this case it seems like she totally

The best part of the whispering (and why it's equally as hilarious as when they yell through an entire episode) is that their whiper voices are as loud as my normal talking voice.  They can't even whisper quietly.

Any more explanation of why they were there would have absolutely ruined this episode.  I don't even understand how that could possibly be a matter of discussion.  Maybe it's just me and my friends, but being thrust into a situation without explanation and being forced to roll with the rules of the scenario on the fly

You are not alone.  Maybe not one of the best ever, but myself and everyone I watched it with laughed our asses off throughout.

There are atheist bigots out there who hate gay people and/or think they shouldn't get married just because they're assholes and have nothing to do with religous beliefs.  And while atheists by definition don't believe in an afterlife, I've yet to meet one who isn't as annoyingly preachy and self-serious as your

Are you incredulous because you haven't watched the fourth season and thus don't realize the parallel is still ongoing, or are you just opposed to the idea of discussing the intentional connection?

That's my thing too.  These are guys that consider Juice a brother to the point that they don't even sort of entertain the idea that he could have been the one who stole the coke.  Are we really to believe that he has to fear them finding out about a black father not even he knew he had?  There's just no way they

I didn't agree with much of what Handlen said in this review but that was definitely the one thing that struck me while watching it too.  The ENTIRE POINT of the club is rebellion and not following rules.

I agree I'm glad to see them getting back to the Hamlet storyline.  That's also what confuses me most about Zack's review this week.  He criticises Jax for basically not being terribly likeable and being a reactor rather than a man of action, but that's EXACTLY Hamlet who was neither likeable in the least or a man who

Phew! Passed….barely.

Not just Sons, but practically a Shield reunion with both Lem and Ronnie in tonight's episode.  They even have Walton Goggins writing partner for movies in tonight's episode (Ray McKinnon who plays the assistant district attorney).  They better start letting Ronnie do more than sit there and be a member of ICE.

I do apologize for anything spoilery I may have mentioned.  It doesn't occur to me that this show's recaps probably shouldn't be treated the same as just about any other show due to it being on DirectTv this year and thus most people have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.  Any future comments will at least

Couldn't agree more with the A.  This was the first episode probably since season 1 where a scene occurred that knocked the wind out of me (that being when Dylan Baker killed his French mistress/counterpart).  It's obvious to everyone he's probably not going to let her live, and yet the direction of the scene and the

I've actually been arguing that this may be Damages best season yet, or at very least the best since the first.  I think it's safe to say the vast majority of Damages fans agree that the first season was outstanding.  I'd say the second and third season suffered from a much more uneven pacing while letting old tricks

You know as soon as he walked into the room it was pretty obvious the person he must be talking to is the little kid and I immediately assumed he actually got high star to extract the kid for his own personal "use."  It never occurred to me until I read your comment that it's almost definitely Happiness's fault that I

Hairy arms in jump forward
As soon as it focused on the arms of the dead man in the flash forward I knew I should have been paying attention to the various men this season so I could recognize the arms but I of course did not. Anyone happen to recognize the arms in the flash forward for who it could be? My guess is

John Goodman's accent
Any idea where the hell John Goodman's character would have to be from to have the accent he does. It comes out mostly when he says the word "war" at least that I've noticed. I've never heard it pronounced like that and I'm also really bad at picking out dialects.

Ah ok I missed the three months earlier card pre-credits thanks for setting me straight. It is a first that the jump is three months and not 6, though, right? Maybe it has something to do with only having ten episodes to play with instead of 13.

flash forward
I may have missed something but was this the first time where they played with the flash forward in a way so that you thought you were seeing what happened in the past with the hostage thing and didn't find out it was the future till the end of the episode when you see Ellen outside the room? I don't

I saw someone mention that Doug's new job is being used to give Nancy a job based on the previews for next episode. I just wanted to point out it's still very likely he's being set up as a fall guy (for purposes of plotting) while also aiding the necessities of the show by giving Nancy the job. In other words, it
