Time Jumps
I realize it's not exactly uncommon for shows to skip ahead in time between seasons, but it seems to me like big jumps in time (a year or more) seems to be a common theme for shows this year.

Doug
Does anyone else get the feeling that Doug is being swept into his new company in order to be set up as a fall guy for some major scandal? It seems too easy that he could have been out of the professional world for so long and because of some fairly illegal activity if I remember correctly and yet just because

It's always nice to discover another Wizard People, Dear Readers fan. Despite it being a huge deal amongst my high school and college friends, I never hear or see anyone else mention Brad Neeley's crowning achievement.

I'm expecting total asskickery. My only wish is that he could get MC Chris to come out to join him performing "The Awesome"

Donald Glover Show
Is anyone else besides me going to see Donald Glover in Philly this Wednesday? I've had my ticket and looking forward to it since they went on sale.

Bluegrass suggestions
As a northerner who has had a lifelong hatred for all things bluegrass, country and western, and all other twangy sort of music I'm surprising myself by really digging the stuff they've been playing on Justified this season. If an album of the Bennet clan singing "High on the Mountain" and other

I've repeatedly sided with ZMF on The Shield and I'll do so again here. Mollymauk is a fool to suggest skipping over seasons 4 and 5 which were clearly the best seasons of the show in my opinion. It's not my #1 favorite show of all time (I'd place it in my top 3 or 5) but it is absolutely nonstop ownage. Honestly

"What were you thinking bringing your bitch to the Waffle Hut?"

The prospect of a straight-up happy ending is really my big fear here. It's impossible to get a read on just how much the creators of this show realize they have an absolutely detestable character on their hands in Bill. I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt and think they realize he's a huge prick but then I

Ouch, 3rd prize. I have great respect for your username and, as a long-time Sonics/Thunder fan (I'm not from Washington so my allegiance moved with the team), I have even more respect for Nate McMillan. I do not, however, have any love for the Trail Blazers. Still… no disrespect.

I actually started watching this show in the middle of season three so I ended up buying the first three seasons on DVD to catch up. Needless to say, after last season I did not buy season 4. I am pretty sure I'll stand on the collection I have and if someday my kids or a friend want to watch the show, I'll just let

Thank God it's coming to an end
I'm with Todd on this one. Each week gets a little harder for my fiance and I to convince ourselves to keep watching but we know there's only a few left so we keep torturing ourselves.

I actually think it was intended to be a sort of twisted romantic gesture. Despite her constant suggestions she'd kick Boyd out at the slightest hint of wrongdoing, Ava has continuously kept him around. I'd say if anything the creators are taking moments like that to build this twisted codependent romance between

Best episode of season
I definitely agree this was the best episode this season. It proved that any doubts I had in the back of my mind about how they would utilize Walton Goggins were compeltely unfounded. He's a badass, but a complicated badass, and they're making sure to stay true to that. Every scene of this

What's a "pederast," CapnCook?

@spork: I'm with you 100% of the way. I also really wanted to see a completely reformed Boyd and was convinced we would, but now that I see the actual character it's so much better. There's definitely going to be a little Omar in him and that's a very good thing.

I can't see them ALL being killed off (I realize you allowed for the possibility while still going with a death only pool). I don't know that any would be back for next season, but at least one is going to jail or running away. I would have immediately said the fat one is dying first, but your arguments are at least

I'm glad we're all at an understanding that no one is devaluing either movies or TV and we're all instead speaking as a matter of preference. This is especially true because for the most part, as has more or less been said, I enjoy TV more than movies because I agree with everything you say about the merits of each

He must have mysteriously erased an entire episode in his mind because he also mentions Tim as having a really big scene in the last episode when Tim's only involvement last episode was being present at the bar Raylan and Winona were at to avoid detection. I'm very confused how he managed that.

Since it seems this thread has gotten to the point it's just the two of us agreeing with each other, I won't bother to expand on your points. I will, however, heartily agree that it must take a certain kind of masochist to watch more than an episode of the corner in one sitting. I loved the mini-series but DAMN was
