Matt, I think. I remember him for being so hot I didn't care about his douchiness.

Are you referring to Alicia and Colton? Or was there a third really, really bad person on that season that I've forgotten about?

But there's five people at the next tribal council, not four.

Wouldn't they just boot Spencer?

I was referring to Redemption Island Philip, but it's not like his strategy in Caramoan was going to pay off either: everyone hated him and his stupid Stealth trope.

She's horrible, but at least she's trying to play, rather than quitting (Colton), being racist (Colton), being mentally ill (Brandon, Philip)

It's not an uncommon thing for a 22-year-old guy to say. A few years later, when his friends start having kids, he'll warm up to them.

I agree. I'd liked to have seen a lot more of the "why things turned out the way they did" and less misdirection. Because I have no idea whether Tony/Trish knew that Kass and Woo had flipped back.

I wonder if Kass and Tony had won reward they'd have been sniping at each other while handing out backpacks to poor Filipino kids. I would have enjoyed that.

Seems to me she's the only player who hasn't gotten any reward action so far (except the auction). She lost out on the Outback Shack, the spa, the cave, and the Filipino School. So she's gotta be pretty hungry.

That's a good point. If we have to have people who aren't playing the game, I'd prefer they be as inoffensive as possible, like Woo. My pet peeve is people who are irritating AND refuse to do anything strategically. See Philip, Tarzan, Kat, Monica, Erik, etc.

Acting like a horrible person is a strategic error if there ever was one.

I think Jefra will go along with the other jurors, especially LJ. To do otherwise would require the ability to think independently, and this is Jefra we're talking about.

How can someone (Kass) who is "playing a really great strategic game" have no chance of winning?

It ticks me off that they repeatedly cast people that have no interest in strategy. To me, he is the Christina (from One world) of this season: he's hot, clueless, strategically comatose, and not very bright.

I loved Spencer's reaction to the hordes of Filipino children because that's precisely how I felt at 22.

CK got Seinfeld to turn in a genuine acting performance. Never thought I'd see the day.

Other Spencer gameplay:
*He was presented as the power behind the vote to vote out Alexis
*He and Jeremiah facilitated the LJ ouster. He's built a solid relationship with Tony, which is why he's still around.
*He was the one that was closest to Sarah at the merge. Didn't work out, but he should get some credit for

The gulf between seeing and comprehending is as vast as the stars.

I couldn't agree more. Kass is someone that I love to hate*. She was a great casting choice: she gives good confessionals and she's willing to play the game. Her prickly personality guarantees a little bit of drama, and she's clearly seen the show before. Jefra, on the other hand, was really just wallpaper.
