I think only for the festival and "Bwow" ones, which I was totally on board with cause they rocked.

This and this and this all over. The way the opens segue into the opening sequence, the way the set of Polaroids (when that staccato drum bit kicks in) builds up over the course of the season, the slight changes in the muting of the music and the added sounds, the tweaks to almost every single one of the individual

The choicest ones are lost to my stupid memory, but I recall somebody asking for the new David Blunkett album (James Blunt. DB is a UK politician), my colleague being asked for "the computer movie about the boat" (Amistad), and one particular oddball who came in asking for "mengo" films. I took the bait, made a couple

The day that Low released California as a single, we had a guy come in asking for the theme from this new show called The OC, which he believed was called California. I had (and still do) only a loose awareness of what the show was but was pretty sure that the theme wouldn't have been a Low song. We clearly weren't

Agreed. I've had two "guilty pleasure" shows in the past five years or so; this and Burn Notice. I stuck BN out till the end due to time already invested, but it was pretty shit at the end of the day. White Collar on the other hand overcame being stuck up its own ass/fedora and made me care (a little) about the

I loved that they didn't have any reference to his past actions. They didn't in The Dark Knight either, did they? He was just there, smiling, and lo, it was good. It's implied that they could make a million more films and there he'd be in each and every one.

They're actually fucking great. I'm still surprised that they're great. They did a great a capella album of traditional folk/rebel songs which is a little like 1000 Years… by Richard Thompson. Also it's spelt Chumbawamba, which always throws me. But seriously, check them out.

Yeah, all of the "THIS IS DIFFERENT, REMEMBER?" reminders they shoved in were fantastic. They were all spot-on, and that walking skeleton killed me (especially when it came back into the next shot in the background). I found it more of a generic thing than a Fringe-oriented one, or maybe even Sliders-oriented.

Yup, the management thing's been bugging me as well. I didn't put my finger on it until I'd thought about why the sexism seemed so half-arsed and clumsy. I was thinking that it could easily have been as clumsy back in the nineties — it was hardly the dawn of womens' rights by that point — and then remembered that they

That said, the fact that certain shows (including Community and Parks, I believe) aren't available on Blu-ray despite being broadcast in 720p or higher is pretty sucky to say the very least. They certainly aren't helping matters.

DVDs and don't forget merchandise too. NBC stuff arrives FAST but expect a sneaky post-delivery customs invoice from FedEx (my efforts to prove this illegal came to nothing). It's horrible to be in a country that has such an unused potential audience and will probably never use it to help out a show that you love

This one be right.

YES

IT WON'T LET ME

That wasn't meant to be ZMF-lite. I'm just a little pissed off recently and keep on capitalising shit.

WHY DID IT TAKE THIS LONG FOR SOMEBODY TO MENTION KINGS

I left this tab open and just rediscovered it. You all impress and sicken me.
