I hate you and your Disney Channel vibe, Mollee. And I hate the spelling of your name, though I really can't blame you for that. (Speaking of who to blame for her name, Mollee's mom is pretty hot… my roommate declared her a "total MILF.")

I didn't mind some of the "stuffing"- it was kinda cute to see the dancers when they were little kids. And to see how some of them haven't changed a bit- I'm looking at you, Ellenore!

To me, Kevin looked almost creepily like Vitolio from last season. They also shared the same vaguely-uncomfortable vibe.

Byron- thanks for that. :-)

General note on the quickstep- during the preformance show, Nigel made a big deal over the quickstep Peter and Pauline danced being "the first quickstep ever with a story, which really helps to connect with the viewers" or something like that. However, the quickstep Vitolio and ? danced last season had a story too…

Norse God- agree re: the influence of musical selection. As much as I try to judge the dancing, the musical choices hold way to much power over my opinion of the piece as a whole.

I bought some DVDs from ioffer.com- can't complain, and it was something I couldn't get anywhere else. However am expecting the feds to come knocking any day now…

OK, Legacy's dancing has impressed me. And I was all set to be very critical. But I'm still really bothered by him, and I think it's because I get the impression that he is flaming gay but totally in denial. I'm not sure what gives me this idea, or why it bothers me… I mean, I know many/most of the guys on this

I think this proved that 1) tap is boring if you don't understand tap, and 2) most people don't understand tap.

Thank you, Norse God, for your comments re: keeping Lent and being Catholic. I'm an ex-Catholic as well (in the sense that my parents baptized me and made me go to a Catholic grade school, as soon as I could think for myself I got out from under that) and totally agree with your thoughts. All I can add is, um,

Protein
OK, maybe Craftsteak didn't have tofu in the walk-in, and perhaps there were limits on the use of dairy and/or gluten that we didn't hear about.(Though didn't I see chefs sauteing things in big hunks of butter? Was I imagining that?) Still no excuse for most of them basically presenting nothing but veggies,

Stray observations…
I'm surprised and disappointed to learn that Kevin does the whole lent thing, up to and including giving up meat. Really, Kevin? Really?!?

Learning tap
I don't buy that they couldn't make tap one of the styles for the couples on this show. Is it really that much harder for a hip hop dancer to learn tap than for them to learn quickstep?

Agree, Schticky, they're just handicapping themselves when they set the expectation level so high. Much smarter to play up the problems in rehearsal, do the "oh my god how are we ever going to get this" for the camera, then pull it out during the performance show.

Samba
I totally disagree regarding Karen vs. Ashleigh in the Latin number- I though Karen's ability to shake it put Ashleigh to shame, no matter what color she was wearing.

I too was very saddened that Billy was gone. He was an early favorite for me, as well.

Speaking of Bring Da Noise/Funk, Beeba, how much of a riot would it be to have the dancers do a piece in that style (whatever the hell that style is called, if it has a name)? No music, have them make the music with brooms and metal trash can covers. I would love to see that…

On Travis- I loved his piece tonight (it was the only one I rewound and watched again), and the locket piece last season was also amazing, but I'm holding back on putting him on EAWMM's level. Having a few good (even great) ideas and pulling out 2 amazing routines is not that impressive to me… let's see if he still

What bullshit to even pretend they might eliminate Russell… and after they had so much praise for him after the foxtrot? If they're going to try to fake us out, they needed to edit their critiques to seem at least a little more negative…

I love Glee, and didn't even place that that was where the "Push It" they used came from. Knew it was familiar and spent the entire routine laughing at the song…
