I remember the anticipation I had for the Green album and how drastically it let me down from the outset. As soon as "Don't Let Go kicked in I began suffering from a weird dread/denial hybrid until I was finally able to admit that it just wasn't very good at all. I get that UV isn't E&I or Change, but it doesn't come

Sorry, I guess I thought this was a comment section where we could have a discussion. Glad you're 100% decided then.

"This is not the Dismemberment Plan I grew up with."

I don't know man, I can't think of a bad track on this album. "No One's Saying nothing" has some iffy lyrics, but it's musically very fun. "Lookin'" boarders on saccharine, but I think it works well. "Living In Song" is fantastic and the closing pair of songs are a blast. I'm not seeing any out-and-out weak tracks. Is

Two things: First, ! is their worst album. It's fun, but it can be a slog too.
Second, lack of conflict seems like a really ethereal, baseless criticism. On one hand, I could say that there's conflict throughout like on "Waiting," "Invisible", "Daddy Was A Real Good Dancer" and "Mexico City Christmas", but on the other

People are saying it as a diss because Travis Morrison occasionally drops the odd goofy lyric. They're a different sounding band than BNL, but I could see both bands as being somewhat-descendants of They Might Be Giants.

There are couple stinker lines in "No One's Saying Nothing" and "Lookin'" but I can't really think of what else would be considered bad. I feel like if you're a fan of the band, this one will fit right in. There are some perfectly melancholy jams ("Invisible," "Daddy Was A Real Good Dancer") and some total bangers

Really been enjoying the album. Yeah, it's not nervy like E&I or melancholy like Change, but I for one am quite happy with this more content approach. The songs are really good here and they sink into the bloodstream the same way E&I and Change have.

snooze

Yeah, my Twitter feed has it at June 2012. I'm kind of over it. I received a written apology from creators, that's good enough for me.

I basically have. I was pissed for a day. Moved on.

So this is bumming me out because I dedicated a Twitter account to this exact concept a year ago (https://twitter.com/metalor… where I was doing the exact same thing and now these assholes have stolen it and are getting all sorts of hits for it. I know this is pretty low stakes stuff, but it feels really shitty that

That…is….horrifying.

Other than SNL's three Asian castmembers, they have never had an Asian castmember because when I say Asian I mean Asian in a very specific way.

Where do you think NASIM PEDRAD is from??? Are you so racist that you actually think Pedrad is white?

Am I alone in thinking that Maya was very much not the best?

Travistan is a bad album, but "Born In 72" is legit, so the 0.0 is bunk. All Y'all received a 4.something, but the album is really good.

Yeah, if nothing else, the album sounds like a Dismemberment Plan record.

I don't want to be the lone voice in the pro-D-Plan wilderness, but this one grows over time (not unlike Change, which is now my favorite of theirs). I think Travis' goofier lyrics hit the ear better over time and some songs are just incredible ("Mexico City Christmas"). I don't know, it's already entered my

You should probably go ahead without much fear. They sound so outside of what anyone's doing now that they feel really fresh.
