Wait, why wouldn't you listen to Change and Emergency & I?
Wait, why wouldn't you listen to Change and Emergency & I?
I know some people (Pitchfork?) will probably dismiss the album, but I've been listening for a week now and just gets better and better. I've listened to the album enough that cocaine comes out of it. I really like this new D-Plan record!
That's a really great analysis, skippy. I appreciate that she applies a light touch with her characters. It's a breath of fresh air.
yup, that's basically it. He's pretty predictable.
Why does Modell say The Shield's finale wasn't totally embraced by fans. I've never heard a negative word about it.
At first, I was like "Oh shit, did I write Steven Tyler???" then I thought, "Oh, Hairy Cruise is jsut really stretching to make a joke."
I know Stereogum went off on this album last week and Steven Hyden (y'all remember him, right?) gave it a pretty tepid reception at Grantland. RS means nothing to me.
It's funny how AVClub has a habit of going against the consensus on their music reviews. It's not a good or bad thing, it's just funny (except for that awful Neko Case review. That was a bad thing).
Funny lines told in a funny way are deemed funny.
Will Harris' reviews of The Middle are the best.
Mission Of Burma - "Fell—>H2O"
Grateful Dead - "Box Of Rain"
King Crimson - "21st Century Schizoid Man" (Ladies Of The Road Version)
Clinic - "Sunlight Bathes Our Home"
Beach Boys - "Make It Good"
Sorry, my reply was for Dr. Hfuhruhurr. Heche, you're good in my books.
Are you "speaking truth to power" with regards to Bill Callahan? Cuz that would be a goofy thing to do. Callahan's maybe the best singer-songwriter in the world right now and this album is unbelievable.
Good one, dad.
you really put the "white" in "dwhite10701"
Or in the case of the Neko Case review, they won't even stoop to actually hearing the album.
The AVClub doesn't do metal anymore. I'm not really sure what they're doing right now, but definitely not metal.
Ahahahahahaha
Wait, are you guys ripping on Chris Elliot? Is that what's happening here? If so, that's fucked.
You're kind of mixing casts there. Kazurinsky and Duke never appeared with Rocket.
