Oof, bummed that the Band hate thread started this far up. They really were a masterful group whose work admittedly has been somewhat hurt by the fact that their most recent progeny (Mumford, Lumineers) are shit stain awful. But their self-titled album is truly a masterpiece.

White Trash is still a fun album. A great snapshot of that time period and probably my second favorite NOFX album behind So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes (suck it, Punk In Drublic).

I have a theory that whichever of the great Built To Spill albums (Love, Perfect, Secret) you discovered first will undoubtedly be your favorite. At least that works for me as this one has always been the album I return to with amazing regularity. So expansive, but so hooky.

It's an amazing album. her best, I think. The most varied and personal.

Anyone remember Swing Kids? Do they count? They were great.

I loved Grade, but I remember them getting all kinds of shit for being, like, a screamo boy band.
