Lifeson played himself on the show. Duetted with Bubble on "Closer To The Heart"

1. Moving Pictures (I didn't hear "Limelight" a lot when I was a kid, so I still have time for it).
2. Permanent Waves
3. 2112
4. Clockwork Angels (hell yeah, I'll do you one better)
5. Hemispheres

I'd move Clockwork Angels up about 10 spots.

Joe, if you haven't heard Clockwork Angels yet, you're seriously missing out.

Yeah, if you grew up with some sort of punk rock ethos (like I did) I think you just sort of blindly decide to hate all prog bands. Most eventually come around and realize how narrow-minded they were. I really regret all those years I spent shitting on perfectly fine bands because they didn't fall into my

I love MTS3K, but this makes me very sad. Two great bands.

My buddy made a Justin Bieber one until the cease and desist came.

I always felt Hearts Of Oak gets all the love because it was the one that Pitchork repped and while it's a great album, I think the other two are far far superior.

Haha, remember when people were super into the Decemberists? What the fuck, right?

1. Shake The Sheets
2. Tyranny Of Distance
3. Hearts Of Oak
4. Tell Balgeary Balgury is Dead EP
5. The Brutalist Bricks

With Saves The Day and Get Up Kids, we're talking about the other side of the emo coin (pure pop, no art), but I fell out of touch with Joan Of Arc around The Gap. I've been returning to some of that poppier stuff (hell, I'm listening to Bleed American right now for the first time in a decade) and have been finding a

So I've found myself returning to the likes of Cap'n Jazz and American Football as of late (there's enough distance that some of that late 90s/early 00s emo shit is finding that sweet spot again - hell, I've been spinning Saves The Day and Get Up Kids too), but for as interesting as Joan of Arc is/was, there was

I'm kind of kicking myself on the list. I'd probably swap Big Beat for Indiscreet or Angst In My Pants, but I really think Propaganda is way up there.

I'll defend the Darkness to the death

1. Kimono My House
2. Propaganda
3. No. 1 inHeaven
4. Lil Beethoven
5. Big Beat

Agreed with KEN Mode. Great band. I was pretty down with Meir from the beginning, but I had a buddy who was cool to it initially too, but he really warmed up to it over time. I think those major key, super poppy black metal breakdowns are impossible to deny.

Oh Tim Meadows broke. He's one of the best, but I remember a certain sketch with Farley as a giant baby where Tim completely lost it.

It was also on film.
