And then that ruins the flow. If you're going to get into UConn, and the 90's, you need to talk about Seton Hall, and the violations, and probably mention Football a bit, etc. etc. You'd go way beyond the 2 hour run time, and already a bunch of crap got cut. Simply put, it didn't fit the narrative the director is

Your South Bend bias is showing.

Yeah seriously.

Georgetown, St. John's, and Villanova voted against Penn State.

I'm disappointed the story of him confronting the biggest drug lord in DC didn't come up.

Bleeding what kind of money? The Catholic 7 have the most lucrative basketball contract in the country.

The 90's had nothing to do with the story the doc was trying to tell. People seem to be wanting the documentary to be an epic spanning all 30 years of the Big East, but it clearly cared only to discuss the meteoric rise (from inception to the 1985 Final Four) and what caused it to fail. It accomplished that.

The impact of the Big East on TV contracts in college sports is bar none the biggest of any conference. Big East basketball MADE ESPN. And ESPN then killed the Big East.

Because when the BCS was created Syracuse, Miami, VT, WVU, Pitt, and even BC were all good?

Chickened out how? There's no more room left.

Yeah I enjoy Kevin acting like the Irish play a weak schedule and the B1G is a big increase in competition for them.

UConn didn't get short thrift. This story was about the rise and fall. To put it simply, UConn didn't matter at the rise. Everything they did happened in between. So of course they get left out. This seems to be a major failing at what the documentary is going for.

Indeed it was Celeste Kane who shot him. There's about a half dozen threads open because of that movie.

I don't find it that straightforward. I don't get where everyone else is getting this whole he's going undercover idea, and not knowing who tried to run over Keith is huge.

You know what trope has been lacking lately? Good Xanatos Gambits. We need more of those.

Two Idiots One Keyboard is my favorite Youtube video.

Seriously though if I never know who was driving that truck and what was going on I'll explode.

Seriously, be careful what you wish for.
