There needs to be a sequel because they left up so many fucking loose ends.

Having now seen it: Yes, the jokes are as good.
See: The Reunion
My midnight showing had maybe 50 people total. Somewhat disappointing but I'll assume any midnight die hards went to the fanfest at Garden State Plaza.
BRING IT ON BRING IT ON YEAH!
SO MANY MYSTERIES LEFT UNANSWERED! WHO KILLED SACKS DAMNIT?
Having seen it now, and with no spoiler space, consider this the Spoiler Space
You don't want to end up with a Piz. That's a terrible idea.
Team Schmidty
Dick: What the hell, Bonnie?
Parker was Mac's roommate.
Piz lost me when he refused to go out with Parker to just continue waiting in (creepy) celibacy for Veronica. Parker was hot, awesome, and cool.
Piz grew up to be a contributor to Slate, you know it, I know it, the American People know it.
Also, I want to bring this comment up, from one of the last TV Club Classic reviews, because it's true and I love it.
Well I can't say we agree, that's how I lost my first ten cases.
Dowd is spot on with the Baxter comment. I didn't understand why people hated Piz until I got to the final, like, 4 or 5 episodes. Such a whiny and sad sack character.
Still Pitchfork, still a dumb move, god I fucking hate Piz.
A fair comparison, well, fair as can be, would be Brick, same general setting, same vein of films, similar budget (hell, Veronica blows it out of the water in that regard). I'm not holding my breath on this being a better film than Brick.
Season 3 theme sucked, but the original Warhol's theme had a certain charm to it.
I mean it's possible, none of the principal actors in the show have really taken off, at least not by Cumberbatch and Freeman standards, so three 90 minute episodes seems eminently doable.
