The side effects of Lattisse

oh my god. Now I'm imaging Anna Farris doing Sia's songs in her raspy out of tune way. Comedy gold.

Wow, she didn't even cross my mind. Guess I should be more thankful. Really makes ya think, right?

Dude, he hasn't been a fatty in a loooong time. Oh wait, you meant the show.

ughhhh, no. I don't need new bands to discover and like. I want to be old and stagnant in my tastes. Man, they are right up my alley.

To be fair, those of the Lounds persuasion are prone to burning up.

Who's the guitarist?

Man, he is giving some classic "Dreamworks Face" right there

Isn't the new boss the guy from the beginning of season 4 of Buffy? Tyyypecasting

It ended up feeling like it was aimed at all of those anti-mainstream teenagers in high school. You know, the ones that walk around with doll heads hanging from their backpacks and an obsession with making fun of boy bands of all things.

While I'll agree about them being the best, the performance made me wonder. They didn't underperform by any means but . . . why that song? Not "Bury Your Friends?" or even the single they just released a video for? The cynic in me is thinking that this is a Carrie thing ( I know "No Cities" is a Carrie song which

Harsh reality as it is, blame sexism. I always compared S-K to fugazi in some ways but they had the added obstacle of being women in a punk world. You mean they needed to tour with Pearl Jam and it wasn't until The Woods (which isn't even close to their best record imho) for larger audiences to take notice?
Ehhh, this

I don't think you're overthinking it. The thing about Sleater-Kinney was how they were just this subversive punk band that didn't give a fuck and now you're seeing them align themselves with celebrities that garner relatively a lot of appeal from the mainstream. It was nice when they dropped the album news out of

As a longtime S-K fan, I've typically found all of their albums to take some time to fully appreciate. But this one has the added pressure of the comeback album. I think it's as good as most of their others but time will tell.

That seems to be where things are going. I feel that Margot would have some say in this as well.

You have plenty of time to catch up but I highly recommend against binge watching it. You wouldn't speed read through a novel. There's so much detail in every episode and how everything is spaced out that I feel affects how certain plot points play out. I don't understand why people think binge watching is a good

They have a 6 season plan. And I think they'll get by since it's a relatively cheap show to make.

Not weird at all. I've always been more of a fan of Corin's work. It was Heavens to Betsy that really made me take notice.

NO!!! DIFFERING OPINIONS!!! *explodes*

I'm not a fan of his music or his comic book stuff but I have worked with him and as annoying as he was I didn't think he was a bad guy.
But my bias won't allow an open mind to him sharing the same air as my beloved S-K.
