I think it's been established that Marvel is skipping origin stories for the time being starting with Ant-Man.

It's BEN-HUR, NOT BEN . . .oh.

Really hope this show was about a wacky, unconventional woman named Sarah Mission or whatever and how she ends up butting heads with her new boss who she then tries to not fall for.

I wish it was called "Now You See Me, Too" and the poster featured a rigid looking Jesse Eisenberg with his arms crossed and Lizzy Caplan peeking out from behind him giving him bunny ears while wearing sunglasses and headphones. And of course the trailer would play "bad to the bone"

A lot of people seem to be hung up on the secret identity part of Civil War. This could just easily be a matter of having to register for the government. Hardly different than the Mutant Registration Act (with the exception that it's about something you're born with). Being forced to register or be a criminal would

Wouldn't Gina be considered Jake's best friend? Or is that completely different than oldest friend?

Ya like that? I totally snapped 'em!

I think your hard-on for Bill Hader is making it difficult to review this episode fairly. Aside from Cat in the Hat, Inside SoCal, and the 39 cents a day sketch, this felt like a really generic rerun.
Also, are you going to be one of those reviewers that has to mention their wife constantly now that VanDerWerff isn't

If they're smart, Marvel will release a Kate Bishop only collection of her Hawkeye issues.

She'll be showing up in Amazing Spider Man #9 according to solicitations. And considering she was the only guest star named despite it being the start of a huge event, Marvel knows they have a hot commodity on their hands.

I've only read the first volume of Chew and really haven't come to a conclusion as to where I stand with his writing. That being said, I'm keeping an open mind.

After the fifth issue and Russell Dautermann won't be on it either. It's a bummer as I only bought the first issue on a whim because I love Dautermann's work but this book has been so much fun. John Layman and Javier Gerron are taking over writing and artistic duties respectively.
