I don't see why so many people have a problem with this new timeline. In the current (as of this afternoon) continuity Bruce Wayne is what? 35? 40? I'm asking because I really don't know. He's had nearly 900 issues worth of adventures, and we can buy that they all happened sometime during that time, but this 5 years

That fag's not my brotha!

Enjoy it!

The Dark Tower books are great, despite some minor hiccups, start to finish. Y'all's crazy.

@Miller: That's one of my favorite scenes ever. Callahan faces down Barlow, but his faith is weak, and Barlow tosses the cross aside. Great, creepy stuff.

Wrong. 3D is never enjoyable. The world will be a much better place when 3D is finally dead and buried. Well, the world of movies and TV, anyway.

Glass has a tendency to talk in circles, reiterating and reexplaining everything he talks about several times. I love him whenever he's on Never Not Funny and was great on Comedy Bang Bang but I'm not sure about him hosting his own show.

I'm kinda surprised (OK, maybe not that surprised) that so many people seem to hate Who Said It, Alive or Dead, and the like. I laugh every time at the Who Said It theme song. I love Scott's dumb little jokes in all those games. I think the idea that those games are just designed to get him more focus is pretty

I don't recall the title, but the episode that I remember the best was the one where he took in and adopted the stray dog. Man, that was a tearjerker. Maybe not the greatest podcast, but a great one indeed.

@Batmandu - I should have specified that Cap and Jack Bauer aren't alike as characters, but they're both the main protagonist trying to stop a terrorist threat. Cap certainly isn't torturing prisoners every issue for information. My point was that it's less Cap fighting giant monsters and more Cap fighting terrorists,

@sevenzarkseven - I get that the whole multiple Robins thing is a bit convoluted, but it doesn't seem any more convoluted than anything else from comics history. It's just like Barbara's time as Batgirl/Oracle/Batgirl again. Maybe that doesn't fit too well into that 5 year time frame, but neither does the rest of her

I get why people might find it all confusing, but don't they drop things from continuity or choose to ignore things all the time in comics? I saw someone complaining the other day that Barbara Gordon's just out of college yet the whole Oracle thing is in continuity and how it doesn't make any sense given the time

I'd recommend starting from the beginning of Brubaker's run. That's where I started, with no knowledge of the character beyond the basics. I had no idea who Bucky was, had never heard of the Falcon or Sharon Carter. It's a good introduction, and I thought it read sorta like 24 with Cap as Jack Bauer.

That Sam Elliot impression is really, really terrible. If you didn't tell me who it was I'd never be able to place it. The rest seem OK, but I do feel the need to skip those bits more often than not.

Man, Demon Knight is a great movie. It's really cheeseball, and the guy who plays the cop is maybe the worst actor alive, but Billy Zane, CCH Pounder, William Sadler, Jada Pinkett, Thomas Hayden Church, and the old dude from gremlins are great. Excellent cheesy gore-fest.

The homicidal Santa one was absolutely excellent, and my memory of it caused me to go out and compulsively buy up the entire series on DVD. So far I've only gotten about halfway through season 2 of 7. Some are good, some are bad, some are great, but that Santa episode is a fucking classic. It's still just a creepy as

I really wish Bucky had stuck around as Cap, but I know that's not feasible for Marvel, what with Captain America movies and not wanting to confuse potential readers and such. I never got the Steve's return, but I really loved the issues I read with Bucky carrying the shield.

That Wil Anderson episode especially, with the story about they guy building a homemade vagina was AMAZING. It was even better that my brother and his girlfriend were immediately able to identify the guy Wil was talking about.

Interesting. It sounds like I really need to hear the episode. I hate that I don't ever listen to new episodes until Mondays so I'm always too late to discuss them here, but I had a nice routine going.

What's the deal with Don't Stop or We'll Die? Are they a real band? Ironic? I've heard them on CBB a few times but I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics so I have no clue what they're supposed to be.
