Yeah, I'm starting to think this episodes tops the list as well. It build on the context the show has provided so well and, maybe because of Carrie's infectious mania, the stakes seemed higher than ever.

I'm right there with you. Of course, I expected the fired person to be Carrie, but they pulled one off on me with Estes being at the door. I just loved watching Carrie get ready for Brody to show up. I became so absorbed by her genuine excitement to see him that it crushed me when it was her boss.

I completely agree. I understood what Scorcese meant to show, and I do think it was very cerebral and even a tad meta. I also think the 3D was top notch and I have to say I liked its usage better than Avatar. Still, the plot was VERY clunky, slow paced, and accidental. I grew impatient with how it was shakily held…
