Are you me? I've done the same thing for the past couple of months with the standup. Except for John Mulaney, I think I've bailed out of just about all the standup stuff. I just head to YouTube for a couple of minutes and call it a day.

Me too, man. I think it took me a couple of months. I seem to have devoured the first season, but by the fifth I was worn out, even though I loved the show. By the time I got to Ozymandias, I think I had bitten off all my fingernails.

Ah…thank you for reminding me about Up All Night—I couldn't remember what that thing was called. Night Flight was definitely superior, but I have good memories of Up All Night and that whole USA Network era. Seemed like they used to show hockey games and also Kung Fu Theater, which I loved.

He was so damn good in Amadeus, though. Perfect fit of actor and role. I remember he was on an episode of "Politically Incorrect," and he was kind of grizzled, off center and trying to use some kind of slang. Bill Maher asked him what kind of hip street role he was preparing for.

Very nice…doesn't he deliver the strawberries at the end of that movie—which leads to one of the most harrowing scenes ever in a movie that already features a harrowing plane crash! Good lord, what a great flick.

Commando is, indeed, the gift that keeps on giving!

"We got trophies ovah heeeya, boxing gloves ovah theyaaa…"

He got inside Foreman's head, too, outside and, especially, inside the ring. Foreman was a beast who hit Ali as hard as anyone ever could, and Ali said: "That all you got?" Foreman, years later, said "Yep, that was pretty much all I had!" You can see in that 8th round of the Rumble, Foreman is spent, totally done,

Ali's life, career and political and racial influence will be well documented today across a lot of platforms. He deserves so much respect and reverence for so many things, the least of which are his incredible boxing and athletic skills.

Indeed…one of the best docs of all time. Magnificent stuff.

What's funny is that I have problems articulating what I didn't like about it — which says a lot about its failure for me, I suppose.

This is pretty great news! I've been wondering what DDL was going to do next—heard some rumors about a collaboration with Spielberg, but that hasn't panned out, I guess. He dropped out of Scorsese's "Silence" and got replaced by Liam Neeson, I think.

Ah, I see…thanks! I get them all confused, it seems. I can sort out all the Halloween and Friday the 13th sequels, but the Nightmare saga escapes me.

That was Dream Warriors, I think. A fun film, but nothing like the original as far as tone. Although it does have Dokken.

Ha, and in Diamonds Are Forever, Jill St. John says: "You just killed James Bond!" or something like that. Christ, what a dumb film.

Ha ha…man, Jorma really goes hard in that freaking song!

Ugh…was that Jason Goes to Hell? Vile stuff.

Ha ha…I like how that song just goes right for it at the beginning: "YO, MY DICK DON'T WORK…"

Ha, it just makes me laugh like a little kid and I can't stop: "MINIMAL TYPOS"

My favorite line from a movie filled with great ones.
