Always and forever.

I'm diving deep, too, I think. Going through all the albums where I can find them, on YouTube, iTunes, wherever. I wanna go back to the beginning and work my way through Let's Dance and just kind of absorb what it all is, what it means, how it makes me feel, good and bad and all points in between.

We stand on the shoulders of so many giants, so many artists that we respect and admire. We don't even have to be active fans to see and absorb their greatness, their inspiration. We don't even have to know all of their work to understand what they meant to so many people, to recognize how much we envy them for their

Only if the son can leer at Rey uncomfortably and then murder a bunch of people, which leads to declarations of love!

I had no idea Johnson was going to be the primary writer on both those episodes…thanks for the info! I'm really looking forward to these flicks.

That sounds great! I have good memories of watching it back in the day and when it used to run in syndication somewhere. I would love to try diving into it again.

Wow, that's pretty impressive! What was your favorite of the 50?

I feel ya. This is also a problem of mine. I usually end up down the YouTube rabbit hole because it's quick and easy. Jesus, my attention span is just shot. I have 6 books sitting here…all started, none finished.

The first season of NYPD is soooooo good. Season 2 and 3 are pretty damn good, too. It's been so long since I've watched Hill Street—does it still hold up?

You can do it!

Indeed! I have yet to sit through Inherent Vice twice…it just didn't click with me the first time, and I'm an Anderson superfan. But it had enough new stuff, enough SOMETHING going on, that it makes we want to see it again, study it, try to see what seeps through the second time. It builds on things he started in

"Oh, thank god…I mean, GET HIM!"

"When will these bozos learn how to use a doorknob?"

I wonder how things are in Otisburg these days.

What, you don't like slow motion clips set to cliched piano tinkling and inspiring stories of families dying in house fires or whatever it is? Just show me the action! Athletes don't have a monopoly on personal tragedy!

Heck yeah! I'll bet most of us are waiting for that more than anything!

Very well put! I really liked Jackie Brown. It had authentic human relationships and emotions wrapped up in a lot of Tarantinoisms that I really like—like altering the timeline and wrapping stories around each other. And Kill Bill was just a lot of fun. But you are right—Hateful Eight just feels like an artist resting

I always feel a lot of trepidation when even thinking about possibly discussing the mere thought that the emperor has no clothes. His passionate defenders get very upset! I totally understand what makes him popular, and I cannot deny, nor would I ever try to deny that he is an important, influential filmmaker.

Yes, so much yes. Community was a fave, and I was excited to watch it. Couldn't get the fucking player to work without a fucking ad fucking playing in the middle of the fucking thing while the fucking show was still fucking running. And then the fucking things skipped and the fucking sync was fucked up. Hey, you Yahoo

"You there…have you ever kissed a girl?" Still Shatner's best moment. That, and Airplane II.
