Exactly, I was waiting during all this episode for Ray to suddenly shrink in the middle of a fight, because of stress or something.
Hey now, Amell is still the heart of the show. And he can do good work. It is just not his fault if Arrow has been falling apart around him this season, under the weight of all those cross-overs and spin-offs in the middle of Sara's murder investigation…
Didn't read everything, but I still upvoted because I am sure you have put more thought into this than the writers into the plot of the entire season.
ROY: Also tell Barry I'm alive, and tell it to all the others in Central City… except Iris.
- So Roy's dead, huh. Oh well, time to call an ex, let's see…
(sees Surfer DJ's number)
- Oh, right… (drinks another glass)
He probably figures he can always come back in a couple of years, as Arsenal in one of the 20 shows of the Arrowverse.
There was just no time to call Thea and tell her to come! Why, you ask?
So Roy used the story of him killing a cop to fool Cpt DA Lance? Damn that's cold…
That one scene wasn't Laurel leaving with Roy = F-.
Ray*
At least Roy did say goodbye to his hero RAY PALMER.
His character has just never really worked since Sin left and he suddenly became Oliver's best friend/sidekick. That only happened because of the comics, which is also why I am happy that they are ready to deviate from the "canon".
his acting has been at its best during his time on Arrow.
Oliver?? Don't you know it was the RAY PALMER week?!
RIP Oliver's parents, the only people in the world who can't come back. But maybe it is for the best, it would be awkward for Oliver to explain what Merlyn is doing exactly in Thea's apartment.
Well that, and the nanotech juice he took last episode (before he went to also play hero in Central City, or was that after…).
The explanation of Roy's scheme was like Usual Suspects, except after the montage the big reveal is that Roy only has one facial expression.
Oh no Thea died, that's horrible. Because that will stick, people never resurrect or fake a death on Arrow, right?
Judging by the logo, it will be called BATMAN vs spm by the time it is released.
