In the Meantime is a great song.
In the Meantime is a great song.
"You Get What You Give" by New Radicals — just the right time in my life (I was 16) when this song came out. Reminds me of high school, getting a driver's license, cruising to the mall, etc. Great tune for that age and had just enough of a rebelliousness to it that I thought I was cool just by listening to it.
I never noticed until now that Krusty uses a switch blade in that clip. It's little touches like that that made classic era The Simpsons what it was. That's a fucking genius sight gag.
Schneider seems to have gone completely off the deep end, but I'll always appreciate his role as a bumbling surfer in Surf Ninjas and a bumbling hacker in the 1995 feature film adaptation of Judge Dredd and nothing else.
It would explain Phreak's absence in the last 40 minutes of that movie. Seriously, it always bothered me that Phreak got arrested and we never heard from him again.
I watched Here Comes the Boom over the weekend. I actually liked it. The MMA stuff was very well filmed and choreographed.
The second season of Marco Polo was pretty great. I was looking forward to a third season so it sucks that it got canceled.
You and me both. I remember riding in my friend's truck on the way home from the mall listening to Stan. It was raining outside. That song blew our minds.
Yes. Beerfest is unassailable hilarity and the best thing Broken Lizard ever did. The Landfill/Landfill 2 scene is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a movie.
Me too. I liked the album with Learn to Fly but One by One was garbage, I thought. It was too much like a lot of shitty rock out there circa 2002.
It's certainly amateurish and his later films are obviously more polished, but Clerks will always be the best work Smith has done in film. I still watch it pretty frequently and though the actors aren't always "professional," the dialogue is still pretty funny and well-written. It's too bad Smith has turned into such…
I've never seen Lemonade either so I have zero idea if the parody was good or not.
I think this season is slightly above average, but then I tend to be down on all-star seasons because so many interesting players go so quickly. Malcolm, Tony, and Sierra (the mom-voting one, not the extra tall one) going out early kinda killed the pre-merge momentum in some ways. The season lost a bit of luster when…
Kass winning Cagayan would have been fine with me.
In Survivor: One World, Bill (the hacky, awful comedian) stole Colten's (the worst person ever) idol and threw it into the ocean. This was against the rules and Colten's idol was returned. So no, you cannot steal an idol.
I agree so much. Right now there's still two advantages and three idols in the wild for 6 players. I'd love to see a season with one pre-merge idol per tribe and one post-merge idol for the post-merge tribe (3 total just to be clear) with no special advantages, no Tyler Perry-like superpowers, and no unfair twists…
Oh noooooo….
He is truly the British counterpart to William Friedkin.
I would argue that it surprisingly is worse than Prometheus.
Mad Max: Furry Road — the porn parody the AV Club commentariat deserves.
