Danny McBride is surprisingly excellent in a more dramatic role than I'm used to seeing him in. I've always found him hilarious, but is a good dramatic actor as well. I would like to see him in more dramatic roles in the future.

Living in Bangkok and being in a relationship with a transgendered person, I have a real appreciation for that line.

I always found it fascinating that Aliens utilized only six actual creature costumes in the entire movie and yet comes off as far more terrifying and believable than any CGI army I've seen in any movie ever. I'm not anti-CGI or anything — I just thought think that is great filmmaking.

I almost forgot about the sex scene at the end. It seems so weird to me that they were making passionate love in a shower after everything they had just been through. "Hey, most of our friends, including the captain of our ship, are now dead, having been eviscerated by an unexplainable creature. What say you we head

What was the last truly great Scott film? I honestly can't answer that question. I like Gladiator quite a bit, but would argue it isn't great (Russell Crowe is great in it however). A lot of people liked The Martian, but I found it to be really average despite a great Damon performance (and I don't like Damon *at

I would argue it's actually *worse* than Prometheus.

This opened crazy early in the international market, so I caught a screening of it last week. It was not good. It was, in some ways, worse than Prometheus, which is a flawed movie with gorgeous sets, great special effects, and an excellent performance from Fassbender that asks some interesting questions about the

Forgotbusters was arguably better (much better imo) than My Year/World of Flops.

Elimidate was the perfect trashy tv show to hate-watch with a significant other or a group of friends.

Based on the novel "Tush" by Assfire.

No worries. I actually haven't seen Dr. Strange, Ant Man, or Civil War. I liked the first Guardians though, so that's why I saw this one. I honestly can't tell you why I rented Avengers 2 except that I had a free rental and two hours of free time lol.

I don't know and don't really care (I don't mean that in a disrespectful way — I just honestly don't really care that much). The problem I have with a lot of these movies is that they have, for the most part, a "sameness" to them. I could have read the Wikipedia entries for most Marvel movies and basically got the

Michael Rooker is arguably the best part of the movie.

I liked the first one and didn't really like this one too much.

Kurt Russell is just his physical appearance. His brain still resides inside the planet and you totally get to see his "planet face" towards the end of the movie. I wasn't a big fan of Guardians 2, but didn't have a problem with what they did with Ego's appearance at all (his motivations as a character, on the other

I saw this last week as it opened a week early internationally. I'm admittedly not much of a fan of the Marvel movies (I really only like Jackman's Wolverine movies and that's about it) and this one didn't change my opinion significantly in one direction or the next. Part of the problem is that these characters might

I, too, don't care for Michaela. I liked her a lot in Millennials vs. Gen X, but really finding her grating and obnoxious this season. She's been projecting an unearned air of entitlement. Though I can understand it to an extent because she's playing from the bottom. But still enjoyed her much more on her first season.

I had to stop going to Polygon because they became so "click-baity." Last time I visited, there were at least 15 articles (and I use that term very loosely) about Star Wars that were little more than a headline, a byline, and a half-formed paragraph with some editorial thoughts thrown in by the "writer." Everything on

Two players really stuck out as being excellent in this double episode, and they were Cirie and Debbie. I've never been a huge fan of Cirie, but I absolutely loved her here. And Debbie was just entertaining while being goofy, which is far better than unhinged and crazy like she was playing a few episodes ago.

The last one on Thrillist ran two weeks ago, I think.
