Tony is entertaining but he is also exhausting. I like Tony as a personality, but he's also the kind of player who tends to dominate his season (like Russell, for example) so it's easy to get burned out on him.

Brad got an unfortunate edit in his first season (not letting him completely off the hook for it, mind you) but everything I've ever heard about him outside of Survivor suggests he is a really good guy. He's also apparently very liberal in his personal life as well.

I also like them and think they're funny.

Any time Bertie isn't on screen, people should be asking, "Where's Bertie?"

The Mr. Belvedere story has been the stuff of Hollywood legend for a long time. It was referenced on both 30 Rock and American Dad (where Christine Baranski was used as a substitute for Belvedere).

It's just easier for everyone on the internet to blame Snyder for everything and then call it a day.

I see what you did there.

I agree with your assessment. I thought she was entirely out of line, especially calling him an asshole. He didn't do anything to deserve that kind of vitriol. If he was behaving like an asshole with what he did, then she is probably a completely insufferable person.

If you watched the show you might realize that you wouldn't want to date Gillian Jacobs' character in this show no matter how attractive she might be. That's one of the things that piss me off about people who just seem keen to criticize Gus' looks. Mickey is a train wreck of a human being; you wouldn't want to spend

Season two is a huge improvement over season one (which I liked with reservations).

It was the part about leaving it in a bowl in a shed that had me dying. Also wondering if Bertie has little patience for rabbits being that she's Australian as well. There's cultural layers to her sociopathic story!

You're absolutely right. It is a very good picture of what a new relationship is like. I also like how it's much less mean spirited than the first season as well. I weirdly find myself on the edge of my seat seeing how these two could potentially fuck their relationship up next. Season two has been very relatable so

I really enjoyed this episode and the ones that come after it make it even better in hindsight. The second season of this show has been really good so far (on episode 7 now).

While I generally liked the first season, it did get really uncomfortable and nasty overall. I still liked it, but I had hopes the second season would be an improvement. I'm five episodes in (I think, they all blur together), and it's a vast improvement. The nasty, cringey stuff has been toned down quite a bit and the

I will go to my grave insisting Pain and Gain is a really good movie and that the Rock arguably earned at least Oscar recognition if not an outright nomination his performance in it.

I don't even remember Michele so I think you've got a point! I remember more recent winners like Mike, Cochran, Jeremy, Tyson, etc who were all driving their seasons. I think Adam was a pretty big part of his season despite the lack of strategic prowess I witnessed in him. But yeah, no idea who Michele is.

One of the most entertaining things ever was Francesca getting voted out first on two different seasons. I'd be all in on a "no jury" season of players.

Ozzie is one of my least favorite players ever. He refuses to evolve, holds grudges, and throws tantrums. I can't believe they brought him back yet again. Hope he enjoys his 9th place finish.

Yes this exactly. Look at Tony the first time he played. He was downright fat at the beginning of the game. Same with Penner at the beginning of his last season.

I think the days of the UTR player winning Survivor are largely over, thankfully. The last handful of winners iirc have all been big characters. Who was the last "UTR" player to win? Denise? And arguably she wasn't all that UTR.
