I have a personal thing against Mr. Depp's hair.  No matter the film, he always has a little bob.  It annoys me: "I'll play whatever character you want, as long as can keep my anachronistic hairdo so as to maintain my Cool McCool status  when off camera".

I think any movie where a tough hero is being chased while dragging a women by her arm should be disqualified.  I just hate that so much.

I'm hoping Magnolia is left behind.  On each over-8 hour flight I take, I always choose one super-long movie to help pass the time.  Magnolia made my 10 hour flight from Frankfurt to Bangalore seem 3 hours longer.

They throw some narrative breadcrumbs at Anakin's inner darkness.  Not many, which makes sense, since he's still pretty clean at the start of ep 3.  What's funny is that he has a much better, and more interesting relationship with his spunky little padawan, than his secret-wife.

I hope the Gyp character isn't a sign of a trend from the Sopranos, where for like 4 or 5 years straight, the central plot involved some character showing up out of nowhere at the start of a season, being totally out of control, then getting his comeuppance near the finale.
