i'd love to believe they occupy the same universe. they're both groups of highly influential and entirely incompetent nincompoops with over-developed senses of self-importance.

hair not curly enough. are there any gingers in LOTR? the only one i can think of is, well, the one the dwarves woke delving too deep and greedily.

she was involved in one of his stories, and that's how they met — he just said "she had the worst fate of all", or something along those lines, referring to ending up married to him. it was a self-deprecating joke; i don't think there was suggestion of her being a casualty of one of his exposes.
i hope not. i hope the weekly model sticks. when i binge (which is often), i'm more a slave to the show than actually enjoying it. i want to enjoy episodes as individual events.

it's not that i want him onscreen less — it's that if you give him 40% of the story, give him the characterisation to earn it. and i don't think the character OR actor have earned it, at least in the ~9 episodes i've seen so far.
my god, everyone, he ain't kidding.
no, it very much isn't.
i'm very partial to the nathan fillion/joss whedon commentary for the pilot of firefly, myself. but the FOTR commentary is unbelievably awesome.
i know where we are and everything, but i can't manage to snark about this movie. there's no sarcasm in me right now. i am simply beside myself in excitement.
