I'm not insulting or disparaging convertees (which is a popular Jewish pastime, even though it's explicitly forbidden by Jewish teaching), but obvious anti-semitism inspires a different kind of terror if you're born Jewish — speaking as someone who was. Ivanka converted in, so she can just as easily convert out if she

I've always felt like rich people should tip better than "decently".

Yes, you seem to have an accurate barometer for what constitutes "making fun of nerds".

So, this happened to me again last night and I thought of coming back and telling you about it.

Hahah, nah. Just an invite-only TV torrenting site.

I just think intent should be considered; Dan, overall, is invested in
the happiness of all genitals and makes the additional step of
advocating for reproductive rights.

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax! I pay the Homer Tax!

I'm on a private Torrent site a friend invited me into. The sources on it are VERY fast and really reliable. Haven't watched it yet, but I never go wrong with files from there.

I started gleefully watching this mess since the revival started. When I saw that today's episode was available on my torrent provider (being a non-American), I laughed, sighed, and said "eh, alright." I can barely muster the effort to pirate it.

Ditto to all this. Like the BSG finale, it delivered in terms of resolution to character drama, and mostly bungled the series mythology. If I had to pick one over the other, that's what I'd choose.

I don't understand this statement and I won't respond to it.

The reaction you heard was overwhelmingly negative, like when you hang out on a liberal-leaning comment board and you think the whole country is overwhelmingly liberal. (I wish!) Or thinking the reaction to Man of Steel was overwhelmingly negative because everyone you hang out with hated it. (I wish!)

I certainly understand why loads of people hated it! I don't want to preach to anyone. I just resent this "EVERYONE HATED IT" historical misrepresentation.

BIG FAT FUCKING DITTO.

I just watched this recently and I wondered if they knew at that point that that's what she was, or were they just spitballing and then went back and decided to go with it.

I really liked most of the finale. It's controversial, but I daresay as many people loved it as hated it. They're just less annoyingly vocal about it. I don't like this presumption to edit history and call something universally hated. You may consider it objectively terrible, but it isn't universally hated.

I said "not really all that self conscious". That's two qualifiers preceding "self conscious". It's not on my mind a lot of the time, and most of the time I feel pretty okay about my appearance and physical attractiveness. But you know what makes me really conscious of it? Hearing "short dudes don't bother applying".

That's great for you that you're bit hurt by those statements, but many others are. I think announcing, unsolicited, that you're "not into fat girls" is incredibly ugly and obnoxious behaviour. I'm a relatively short guy, and it stings whenever I see women saying "not into short guys" or "if you're not over 5'10''

Barsanti suffers from "Inadequate Next to O'Neal Syndrome", as all mortal humans do, but he's capable of some great newswire material. I can't tell if that's an unpopular opinion or not.

"Far Away" is such a triumph of songwriting and game-making.
