man, use the shift key.
man, use the shift key.
i can't imagine this is the last we'll see of Earth 2 and its denizens. it's such an integral part of the show at this point, and if this was their farewell, it wasn't a very auspicious one. i might be wrong, but i just can't see the Fringe producers passing up the chance to have their cast do all that astonishing…
her face scar was quite visible in that flashback(/sketch?), for whatever reason.
beat me to it.
i think it was more than illyria was going to become more and more confused as to which parts of herself were hers and which parts were fred's memories/emotions/lingering synaptic connections, leading up to an identity crisis.
right, but the point is that those labels are near-useless because of how many good (or decent) movies look like complete shit because of their trailers.
i would argue that the "most publicly underrated Pixar film" is cars, given the often surprising hate it gets on a routine basis. it's not, y'know, UP, but it's a nice kid's story that doesn't talk down to them, and its animation and scenery is fucking BEAUTIFUL, perhaps pixar's most stunning landscape work, in fact.
i think they didn't show it because any look at human bones would be kind of comical, and they didn't want to undercut the moment.
SPOOOOOILERS
VAGUE SPOILER
i saw it as abed having to hop between the two "characters", rather than him just not knowing what making out is like. especially given his pretty expert makeout session as han solo with annie last year.
not to be *that guy*, but, brass tacks.
my eyes filled with tears when annie conjured up the observodeck after the locker scene. i have never felt flooded by emotion so strongly by this show before (which is not to say i haven't felt strongly about it — all the time!).
@avclub-6512bd43d9caa6e02c990b0a82652dca:disqus hah, shows what i know. well, i tried.
@avclub-e0b2ce3685c37ff452b211bd8b6b1b5c:disqus , it was a sniper wound to the middle of the chest. that'd rip up your organs. if a skin-regrowth machine could be invented, it'd do wonders for burns, but nothing can fix a sniper wound to the middle of the chest.
in regards to your stray observation about batman on earth-2: perhaps walternate had those comics imported from earth-1 to make peter feel more at home? i mean, it's not how we were supposed to read the moment when it happened, but, let's say that's how it happened.
i think the explanation in the B timeline is that the machine just did it itself, without peter catalysing the process.
i have noticed some odd filming choices, but never the palsy itself.
i don't think buffyverse souls work like that, metaphysically. i don't think souls have "consciousness"; they are not YOU, merely a part of you that encourages goodness and love etc etc etc.
you definitely got 3 out of 4 out of 5.
