The Home Run Derby last night was entertaining, but mostly because of the fight breaking out when Mike Piazza was on.

Arrested Development helped a lot in the immediate aftermath of my mom's passing and as such I'll always have a special affection for it.

Once in college, my friends and I decided to go to a strip club. We saw someone strip to "Runaway Train." She seemed shy, or new, or not really into it (or all three), and it was just really awkward.

I watched it a few years ago, but I really liked him as Rasputin in a film made for HBO. I believe it's on You Tube for anyone inclined to check it out.

Yeah, I read The Golem and the Jinni a few weeks ago and loved it. I think the relationship between the two is nicely done, affecting without getting too maudlin or anything like that. I also think she did a nice job weaving the two characters into vibrant communities, communities that were as fascinating as the Golem…
