I remember it being repeated many times when the swirly snow transformed Richard E Grant into their puppet and tried to kill the Doctor. I just hope it doesn't become the new "Silence will faaaalllll!". That would really be overkill.

Yeah, but it was on the list last year, so I assume that a few writers dropped it this year. It's not too low on the lists of people who did include it, though.

I wanted Amy to properly confront the Doctor about her daughter and just decide by the end of 'A Good Man Goes to War' that she'd honestly had enough. Instead, we got zero emotional reaction from Amy, and that really bugged me. Was the fact that 'Mels' was her best friend supposed to make everything okay? I don't

That was overused, to be honest. Once was enough.

Man, Matt Smith.

Man, Matt Smith.

Yeah, that one was awesome. Matt Smith's delivery was spot-on.

You know, I have issues with how Moffat writes women (yeah, yeah, I should get used to them, but it's just so frustrating to think of all the lost potential), but I will never understand anyone who claims that Matt Smith is an awful Doctor. I think Eleven's my favourite new Who Doctor at this point.

I loved Clara, but a lot of what I loved was the fairytale aesthetic. Which IS something Moffat's pulled before, but JLC was very good and it somehow felt fresh this episode. And I think that just goes to reaffirm your point that she doesn't feel real at all. Fully agreed with all of your points about Moffat's issues

Haha! Agreed.

@Nemesis_Dawn:disqus Huh? I thought series 6 was awful, honestly. I'd suggest watching the Doctor's Wife, though, @avclub-323ca7b091beb1b26cc7a2612f1475d5:disqus , like Andy Pants said, and The Girl Who Waited, which is a personal favourite of mine.
